Lately I've been playing:

Bulletstorm: Short, but lotsa fun. Very vindictive, and fun storyline. Sometimes can get too serious, but still, I look forward to the sequel.
Though it better be much longer. You can beat it in 4 hours. First playthrough if you try hard enough.

Baldur's Gate 2: Probably one of my first games right after pokemon, but just before Golden Sun. It's aged really well, and it's still fucking awesome. Also, now that I'm older, I'm getting all the perverse stuff that was in it. Like, I never really realized that at the beginning of the game, it's subtly hinted at the fact that the main villain raped your best friend. I mean, I knew he tortured her, that was obvious, but the implied rape never clicked.

....Probably a bad example to sell the game to you guys, but it's still a great game. I highly recommend it. And it's fairly cheap now, and can run on most comps past 2001. Less than 20 bucks for the full game and expansion pack that concluded the whole story.
Surprisingly I never played through Baldur's gate 1. Lol.

Devil Survivor: Been playing it mostly during bathroom breaks. But still. Great game. Always good to rely on when getting bored.

How is that? I couldn't get into DA1 cause it was too dry. (At least the parts that I played were) Is it a direct sequel? I literally know nothing about it. Lol.

Based on a survivor of the Fereldan Blight, take DA:O and give it the improvements that Mass Effect 2 got in terms of characters and story, oh and better combat.
