I was thinking about it some earlier:

Gokudera was constantly changing weapons although he kept to the mid-range tradition.

First you have dynamite and that lasted for a while. He could have beaten Bel in the varia storyline, but didnt because of tsuna. IMO his best weapon.

Then you get a flamethrower in the future arc... which lasts not long at all. It doesnt work against Gamma (I think?) and idk if it's used again.

Next is the bow that was used by the first storm guardian. He uses it. Gets owned by Byakuran's dudes twice.

Now they're back to dynamite. Perhaps its a sign that he might actually win : O
