Red Dead Redemption

My dad coerced me into playing this game.
If I'm really serious about trying to get into video games as an actual career, I oughta pay closer attention to important games like this one anyway.

It's an open-word game about the Wild West made by Rockstar, meaning it could also be titled Grand Theft Horse. It's for the PS3 and 360.
You are John Marston, a cowboy/magician who can stop time and shoot everybody in the heart.
Seriously, I don't think I've seen gunfights that are this unfair before. It's great
Also, it's worth pointing out that even though this is Cowboy World, there are still treasure chests.

I only played a bit of it, but I think it'd be worth some more of my time. Well, as long as I'm not playing Super Mario Galaxy 2, that is...
As a gamedesignfag I look at how the game presents itself (If I laugh at the game, that's bad, if the game makes me laugh, that's good. So far this game is the second one).
Well uh it looks good. Yeah.
They (Rockstar) appear to be shooting (lol pun) for maximum realism, which they seem to have done pretty well so far.

Read about this a day or two ago. It sounds like GUN, except kind of better (????). I liked GUN a lot, so this should entertain me very much. I'll be getting it sometime and give my thoughts on it later.

Update: Yes, this game is absolutely worth my time.

Unfortunately he is neurotic and paranoid

Are they Hat Bandits? I can't tell!
I didn't get a good enough look at their hats!"

I dunno. I'll try slowing down time. Maybe I can tell more from looking at them in extreme slow motion."

Magic is employed.

"They look creepy and they're rushing meee
They must be bandits!!! DIE BANDIT"

Our hero shoots the alleged bandit in the head.

"WHAT"

YOU ARE AN OUTLAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT IS COMING TO ARREST THE HELL OUT OF YOU NOW

"OH MY GOD THERE IS A BOUNTY ON MY HEAD NOW although $40 really isn't that much. Huh."

EPILOGUE
Our retarded brave hero escaped the police and was able to remove the bounty by using a Pardon Letter, which is basically a "Get Away With Murder Free" card.

I may look into this game. But I won't be as forgiving. Grrr.

Especially when the alternative is physical perfection that couldn't exist in reality, as always

I just finished this game, the ending was absolutely beautiful, no words can describe how amazing it was for me, just the way it was delivered as it happened and the final moments before the final part, it left me speechless.
