A question for those with 360s

So as you all/most of you know. I've been trying to get a 360 for quite some time now. But at this point, I think it's gonna have to be an Elite, cuz Pros aren't manufatured anymore, and there's no way I'm going with an Arcade. And I'd rather not buy a used console. I'm worried I wouldn't get everything I need. D:

Anyway. My question: Will I be able to play wifi/wirelessly right out of the box? Do I absolutely need that $100 antenna thing? Or is there a cheaper way to hook wireless on it?

If you want to dodge the wireless thing, you need a laptop and an ethernet cable. Connect the ethernet cable from the 360 to the laptop, and then go to the wireless internet's properties and enable "Allow other users to connect to this internet" or something like that. After that you bridge the wireless and wired connection and it should work.
