Illinois: Mufasa Trip

So, to sum up pretty quickly, Illinois consists of:

Soy bean fields
Corn fields
Jesus Fanatics
Obama Fanatics
Fat people
and Chicago.

I swear, they got the guy to do the Boomer motion capture from here. One guy was even fatter than the boomer. It was really rather sick.

Speaking from a resident of New York, the 'master race' of the United States. And if you can't sense the sarcasm in that statement, then let it be known that I was sarcastic.

So, we're in Chicago, the second hotel, and I'm at the comp right now. I don't have long, but I'll give a quick sum up:

We were driving into the city going to our hotel, and they were shooting a movie. As it turned out, it was Transformers 3, so I was bummed at that. But I did entertain the thought of punching Michael Bay for making such crappy movies. And then punching Shiloh Buff for trying to steal Harrison Ford's hat.

After that, we went to a Chicago Cubs game, which was fun. Then during the 5th inning it showed on the board that my step brother and his wife are gonna have a baby, which makes me a step uncle. Which was the most exciting part of my trip.

As much as it makes me feel old. Lol.

We did some touring of the city today, museums, monuments, stuffed pizza, hot dogs, I didn't get pics, but my sister did. So I'll post some of those maybe. Doesn't look like we're gonna get to go to a jazz club. Which was the thing I wanted to do most of all here. But I'm gonna be an uncle, so that balances it out. Lol.

So that's it for now, also, I already showed Masu a bad pic of it, but my step-aunt has a dog that looks EXACTLY like Koromaru. I'll be sure to show a pic. Lol.

I still have those videos on my camera. I just haven't done anything with them. Lol.

I hate flying. It's a very uncomfortable experience. And I wouldn't say I'm AFRAID of flying, but I do get a bit nervous. My mind gets into a state of 'what if...'

Flying isn't that bad, try flying over the ocean, thats fun!

I have flown over the ocean before. Usually when it's a flight that long I can get used to it.

Honestly I hate flying..... the extreme height thing bothers me.

This for me too.
I've only flown once, but I HATE HEIGHTS. i'm also kinda claustiphobic (if that's spelled right). So that doesn't help much either.

Planes do need to be more spacious. Not so much between the rows of seats, that's workable, but there needs to be more room between the person you're sitting next too. The planes should be wider, so for the larger gentlemen, like myself, aren't spilling over into the next seat and pressing against the other larger gentleman next to us.

Also a bit of lax on the security, when we go to get on the plane to go to Otakon, we are gonna have to go like an hour and a half early to get through the security check.
