characters for beginners

i haven't played blazblue, but i'm interested in trying the game. i just wanna know what characters you guys would recommend for a newbie
and who you think the best and worst characters are too.

I just picked the character that looked the most appealing to me and tried to figure out how to use them.

From what I hear, Ragna, Jin, and Tsubaki are good characters to start with.

But it's worth trying everyone to see who fits you the best. You won't know for sure until you try.

The in-game character tutorials might help you tell what characters would work best for you.

I've played it less than 10 times but I like whatshername w/ the glasses and staff if that helps

alright thanks guys!! i remember masu telling me ragna had some cheap move that he can keep hitting you in the air, or something like that. i can't remember what its called though.

Also, Ragna or Jin.

I started with Jin, he was pretty good. then I picked up Rachel, Tao and Lambda/Mu or whatever later on. So I'd suggest Jin or Tao.

Ragna is by far the easiest character to start with. Even without Belial Edge you can rack up some pretty good damage with him, and he combo as easy as ABCD. Literally.

Ragna or Jin, I started with Jin, hes pretty good once you get the hang of him.

Tsubaki is a good starting character. She has a lot of easily linkable moves, and has a command for almost every input. The problem lies in her damage.
