Devil Survivor

I don't think we've actually got a topic for this game, with the exception of 'Yuzu', but that's just a rant on Yuzu.

So yeah, today I just got my first Demon to level 99. Nyalatotep. Max STR Max MAG 30 VIT and 28 AGI

Drain and Holy Dance FTW.

Well, i wonder what happens to Midori if you dont help her/have her join Kaido. Also i was surprised to find out that Gin was the hardest to get route (theres LOTS of choices that will lock his route apparently). That and if you let Haru die on day 4, no matter what you will automatically get Yuzu's route, and only Yuzu's. Thats like, the ultimate punishment for letting haru die.

Recently I got Atsuro's ending, I thought it was pretty dang amazing.

YAY HARU!

Pretty much though, you have to unlock Atsuro's path to get half the paths. That's the reason why I didn't get anything but Amane my first playthrough. I did everything right EXCEPT beat all of the demons in 3 turns for Naoya. And I mostly ignored Atsuro's path in the game.

Atsuro's path unlocks Gin's, and Naoya's path pretty much. They're all basically interconnected.

Then there's Amane's path.

And Yuzu's path is given to you.
And that's everyone.

Oh well see, I dont get trolled. So I had to slap naoya with my dick and kill the demons in 3 turns. FUCK IF HES GONNA TAUNT ME AND RUN OFF LIKE A FAGGOT!

Ok. so WHAT THE FUCK IS BELZABOUL!?!?!?!?!

I got to him last night in Gin's route. Disfuckinggusting. I HATE bugs. Then my fucking DS screen is covered by a motherfucking fly who escaped the retirement home. WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. To make it worse it can fucking SHIT EGGS INTO YOU AND THEN THEY BURST OUT OF YOU AND KILL YOU AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARUGHGHGHG. I fought him at 4am, so when i fell asleep (fell asleep during amane's dad's retarded speech cuz hes a retard) I dreamt that I was in Devil Survivor and I was seeing ppl I knew exploded and have maggots fly out of them.

FUCK.

Also, he was fuckin my shit up. Though I beat him on my 1st try, only because right as abel died, Midori cracked Samarecarm. So she fully revived him and abel DUAL SHADOWED THE FUCK OUTTA BELZABOUL.

I didn't have any trouble with him at all. Amrita gets rid of the infection.

And then I just tanked him.

Jezzebel was harder.

Amrita. Waste of a slot. I prefer to just die, revive, and have my turn instantly.

I give Atsuro Amrita. That's the only MP thing I give him.

I heard that the devil survivor on 3DS is a remake of this. With added things of course.

I think there's now an 8th day.

Wow. That sounds pretty cool.

But, I just got Devil Survivor. Was a REMAKE really a good choice here? Plus it's on 3DS, a handheld that costs 300 dollars....


But I dunno. I would still want it. Just not for that much money.

I was hoping for a sequel.

Im fine with a remake. Theres alot they can do with it. More demons, give other characters (Keisuke Mari Izuna and Midori) their own routes, graphics, quicker movement on the field. A sequel would kinda just shit over the efforts of abel and co. imo. That and with a sequel, they'd have to someway pick a "cannon" ending from the six in the 1st one, a task that is risky since youre likely to piss off a shit ton of the players no matter which you pick (UNLESS YOU PICK GIN'S THEN YOUVE CHOSEN CORRECTLY)

Remake ftw.

Sure they could do more with it, but like, it's only been like 2 years since it's been out. Why would you remake that when it still has staying power?

Just seems odd to me. Sequels usually come before remakes.

Persona 3 was remade twice.

Three years in a row.

Vanilla P3 was 2006
FES was 2007
Portable was 2009

no no wait there was a year gap between fes and portable. For making persona 4 though.

But still, 3 was remade before its "sequel" (4), then remade AGAIN lol.

well I finally got an emulator to run this with no major hiccups and the music isn't all that bogged down so I figure I might as well try this

Starting Second Playthrough today, gonna rofl-stomp everything but the last day with Cu Chulainn and Ameterasu.

Kaido's a pimp and Gin is a Pimp.

And Ringo (what I named Abel) is a pimp.

Nice, I did Gin's route first. Wanted to beat the game once before going to Devil Survivor 2, in which Daichi is GOD. lol

I did Gin's Route too, gonna do YooHoe and AtsuBRO next and save the Chaos/Law runs til' I've level grinded everything to 99 cause I hear they are execruciatingly difficult.

Law is, Chaos is just a boss rush with every bel. Gin's is the hardest either way depending on what you do. 1st pt its hard cause you lose all your demons, NG+ its harder cause you probably rely on your broken demons to plow through the game to the point where your humans cant fight on their own

Yeah pretty much that. I nearly shit myself when I realized I had lost Kresnick and Nyalatotep.

Lucky me for doing it first where I had to focus on having compitent humans lol.
