So I was bored and decided to check the state voting results for some of the games, with only one thing coming out of it for me.

I HATE NEW HAMPSHIRE.

Persona 3 vs Civ IV had Persona 3 getting routed 2 to 1 in terms of votes

P4 vs Braid: Persona 4 won by a 20 percent voting margin

Dead Rising vs TWEWY: pretty much the same as Persona 3 vs Civ IV (with Dead Rising doing the routing).

God New Hampshire can't figure out what's a good game if I bit it in it's ass.

So yeah, vote for Windwaker.

This isn't a mandatory thing like Symphonia or Persona, but I really like Windwaker. And God of War is over-hyped.

Plus God of War is gonna beat Symphonia in round 2, LET'S GET OUR REVENGE NOW!!!

So we're officially on to round 2. The first vote is between Fallout 3 and some game called Deus X.

Not sure what it is, but I'm not surprised Fallout 3 is winning.

Also, I will throw a hissy fit if people don't vote for Symphonia against God of War.

I woke up this morning, it's losing, with two hours left to vote. But it's so much closer than I would have ever thought. Even if it doesn't WIN, it proves just how awesome Symphonia is.

Also, when I saw the score, a rock anthem version of the song that plays when Lloyd is like: "You guys, no problem, we'll just fuck some shit up and be awesome." You know, that inspirational music that plays.

Imma find the song. It's harder than I thought.

Alright, I give up. I can't find it.

Anyway, the song I was THINKING of is the song that plays when Tiga talks to Lloyd about how impossible winning is, and lloyd goes like: "Nope. I voted after 12 last night and it was winning by a couple hundred. I was naive to think it'd last -_-

Yeah. We all knew it was gonna lose to God of Warts since the massive fanbase it has of 13 year old blood obsessed fans.

Or since they're all older now, the uncultured 20 year old blood obsessed fanboys.

But I'm proud of Symphonia for giving it this kind of run for it's money. It's at a basic coin flip level.

Still an hour left in voting, but I doubt that would help Symphonia. Since I woke up to check, the gap has only gotten wider. Unless all the Symphonia fans haven't voted yet, then we can say God of bore won.

Well there's an ity-bity tiny chance it could still win. Every time I refresh the page ToS gets quite a few votes. Lol.

It's a total smack in the face for God of war fans. And hopefully Namco Bandai will get something out of it too.

I'm not even sure the companies even know/care about these kinda polls. Lol.

They might take notice of it. It's a good way for them to see what gamers want.

So Symphonia lost. I'm sorry to say. But it wasn't unexpected.

What WAS unexpected was how well Symphonia did against God of War.

It's a sign of something hopefull.

Well, if you look at the victors of the past few rounds, it's very clear that this is when the 'fanboy' effect takes in.

I mean, the perfect example is how Batman: Arkham Asylum beat TF2. Batman wasn't really that great of a game. It was FUN, but it's not better than TF2.

This isn't to say that all of these are BAD games, I mean, I LOVE Fallout 3, but there's a lot of 'fanboy' games. God of War, Uncharted 2, Metriod, they're all fanboy games.

Maybe I'm just being overly critical about it, I mean, they're all great games in their own respect, but they're not better than some of the games that were left behind:

Team Fortress2
Tales of Symphonia
Street Fighter 4
Psychonauts
Mother 3
BOTH L4Ds

But what can you do? Hopefully a good game will come out on top.

No offense, but when you consider that "fanboy factor", Persona stands no chance against Final Fantasy. Lol.

I wouldn't say that. I've heard from people that 9 was pretty bad. (I haven't played it, but that's what I've heard.) And Persona has a pretty high fanboy factor too.

I'm just hoping FE9 makes it quite a way, It probably won't win though.
