So far confirmed info:

Being developed by Aksys, so FUCK YEAH, the developers of Guilty gear and blazblue, GOOD fighting games

Hitting Arcades in spring 2012, PS3 and Xbox360 said summer. (thank GOD PS3 is region free. but its atlus, they'll localize it.)

Is a direct cannon addition to the story. Aigis is supposed to play a MAJOR role in the story.

100% Confirmed Playable Characters: Souji/Izanagi, Chie/Tomoe, Yosuke/Jiraiya, Aigis/Athena, Kanji/Takemikazuchi, Yukiko/Konohanasakuya, Naoto/Sikunahikuna, Teddie/Kintoukidouji


Modes:Arcade,Story, VS, Online VS.

And its just like blazblue. Arcade mode=fight cpu's have a few scenes with special dialouge vs a character and an ending.

Story mode? Like blazblue's. So if its as extensive and has as many alternate possible endings, then I'll buy ten copies of this game to show my gratitude. Every character has his/her own story. This also means lots of High quality CG art, which was one of my favorite parts about blazblue's story. Also, the persona 4 team is directly involved in this game. As in they went to aksys and said "Hey wanna make a p4 fighter" and they're working WITH Aksys (i assume for the story and music awwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaaaaaah) As an added bonus, it turned out, the Blazblue team is full of Persona fans, so their motivation for this is extremely high.

The game's story takes place 2 months after the events of Persona 4, and all characters are appearing in a TV fighting program called "P-1 Grand Prix", Persona 3 characters included.

Maybe there will be support characters in the game, cause I can see Rise under Chie's health gauge in one of the scans. That way they can include characters like Dojima,Fuka and Nanako (WITHOUT LETTING ANYTHING TOUCH NANAKO. Besides anyone should burn themselves alive if they were to hit Nanako :< )

Also, Teddie looks like a boss.

Oh yeah Maining Yosuke until either Rise is shown to be playable, or when Minato or Shinjiro are confirmed

What sucks is that on the character select, Aigis is Fool, meaning this is after the answer, meaning no Minato because they look like they're actually following Story cannon. On the other hand, that says that they're going for a quality game, and thats cool with me.

Def want Adachi. And I want his personality to switch back and forth between crazy Adachi, and goofy Adachi.

I would love to see Adachi.

I would say "ADD STREGA" cause the game fucking needs boss characters but.......its actually following cannon so they're dead. DAmnnnnnnnnnnn

If yukiko is a keep away character, i'll probably pick her up. Im sure Yosuke is gonna be another rush down character (he better not have shitty life though D:<)

I wouldnt expect them to wrap up that storyline in a game that's set in another genre. Though i also wouldnt expect them to do it in persona 5 either if it were an entirely new setting with new characters (barring a predictable random fieldtrip to inaba and staying at that inn)

I don't like fighting games.

HOWEVER, I was willing to give Halo Reach a shot after knowing I didn't like that series. I DO like persona. If I don't like this game, so be it. I would get Tales of Versus too if Namco Bandai weren't assholes. But, Atlus has been faithful to me, I shall be faithful to them and try this new game they're making.

Teddie for sure will be playable. I would say any of the main cast would be playable for sure. Lol. Since they were already playable.

Massive hype for this. Holding out for Kanji and the P3 protagonist just so I can beat up the P4 protagonist as him.
