"What you need is one hell of an insurance policy." Kentaro says to Stefan. "Any doctor who doesn't question half-healed gun shot and stab wounds, probably either charges a lot to keep quiet or is a quack. I don't know, but that healing magic stuff is probably gonna make for the craziest x-rays of this guy's career. Hey wait a minute. Where are you going Maeko-san? We should probably talk about what happened. Stefan already promised to explain everything... once he stops throwing up and gets his fluids..." he says looking at the sick looking Stefan

"..,I'll be back." Maeko barked at him as she left, slamming the door. She began running in the direction on her apartment, before stumbling. "A-argh! T-too soon for running..." She thought as she countinued walking with a limp.

"To be honest, we're probably better off without her." Yomiko said crossing her arms.

"Eh?" Masuyo asked confused.

"Have you seen how she acts and listened to how she speaks? The last thing we need is the "I am loner I don't need you people" type with us in that deathtrap!" she said upset.

"I hear where you're comming from......." Masuyo said. "And she isnt exactly our friend. At least Nene and Tsubasa and Kentaro were already friends with us, but we have absolutely nothing binding us with her. Maybe we are better without her." he said shrugging

"Think we can talk about this later? I'd rather not throw up on Kentaro's back. He's being kind enough to carry me..." Stefan rolled his head back, weakly.

"Ha! Kind nothing." says Kentaro laughing, "I'm doing this because it benefits me and my ego."

Later on Maeko made her way to her run-down apartment complex near the outskirts of the town. "Please don't be too late..." She thought as she walked towards the door. As she did it swiftly opened. And a large middle-aged woman stormed out yelling.
"You!! Deadbeat!"

"Excuse me, before--"

"Oh save it! You skipped on the rent! AGAIN! You've been kicked out!" The middle-aged landlady continued yelling.

Maeko argued. "I couldn't help it, I was kidnapped"

"Yeah of course you were, sounds WAAAYY to convienent! Your junk's in the back!" The woman huffed as she went back inside, slamming the door.

"How long was I in there...?" She thought to herself as she walked to the back of the building, to look for her things. "!! No..." She found her ice bucket and fishing pole laying up against a dumpster, the bucket damaged and the fishing pole broken in two.
"....." She said nothing as she grabbed her stuff and made her way back to the others.

"Well what now?" Masuyo asked the remaining group of Yomiko, Shinta and Karin. "School is a few days away, and things aren't getting any better. How do we go about this?"

"Ugh, maintaining my grades is going to be hell............" Yomiko said groaning

"Yeah," Karin sighed, "I had a hard enough time before all this."

Shinta added, "And let's face it, we're not the most discreet group on the planet. Keeping all this a secret is gonna be hell."

"....Hey, it may not be any of my business, since I've been....home schooled most of my life, but if need be, I...I can run into the TV world on my own, if there's an issue." Stefan said, trying to sound tough, though it was discredited by his current physical state.

"You told us you were going to school when Yomi first moved here." Masuyo said to Stefan.

"Well, I could always drop."

"Why would you." Yomiko asked. "If you're a real man you'll take on all your responsibilities."

"Heh. I never said I was.." Stefan chuckled. "Anyway, let's get goin." He kicked Kentaro's thighs weakly, as if to urge him to move forward. The two left, heading for the hospital.

Yomiko sighed.

"Eh. Its his life. If hes fine being a hobo then its no skin off my nose." Masuyo said picking at his wound.

Maeko slammed the door open. Tightly holding her dented ice bucket, and a part of the fishing pole in each hand.
With an enraged look on her face, her eye twitched as she said nothing. She walked to the other side of the room and sat in the corner.

".......What'd we do?" Yomiko said looking at Maeko storm in.

"We exist." Masuyo said laughing. "No seriously the fuck happened with you?" he asked

"...I was kicked out of my apartment." She said coldly.

"Also...." She sighed and hung her head, holding up the parts of her fishing pole.

".........Yes." Yomiko said.

"Huh-"

"I ALREADY KNOW YOU'RE JUST GONNA ASK IF SHE CAN STAY AT THE APARTMENT IM JUST GETTING IT OUT OF THE WAY NOW!" she shouted

"Oh.......okay." Masuyo said grinning. "Iiiiiiiim the best"

"...Hm?" Maeko looked up and turned to them, with a confused and agitated expression on her face.

"You're living in our apartment." Masuyo said plainly

"...Thank you." Maeko turned and kept looking at her fishing rod, before placing it beside her and sighing.

"Looks like your place is becoming pretty lively." Shinta chuckled.

"Which reminds me," Karin reached in her pocket for her phone, "I'm surprised Grandma hasn't called me or any...my phone's dead. Great. I'm gonna go drop by my house real quick." Karin said hastily speeding out the door.

Kentaro and Stefan arrive at the hospital.

"Hey... shouldn't we have brought shinta too? He was holding his stomach the whole time we were in the tv.... oh well here we are."

he takes stefan in and says to the receptionist with a big grin

"Hiya! My buddy here fell down some stairs, landed on some power tools and wasn't found until the cuts had healed over. He also insisted on being carried instead of riding in an ambulance. Where do i sign him in?"

"..Shinta's...made of tougher stuff than I am..." Stefan mumbled, grinning sorrowfully. "Heh."

The receptionist stared silently as she processed Kentaro's story. She sighed and handed Kentaro a clipboard, "Right here. Just get a better story when the doctor sees you."

"Achoo!" Shinta rubbed his nose, Someone must be talking about me...not. I probably just caught a old from the river or something.
