"Er. Sorry..." Stefan stepped aback, looking around the room. "Is this a bad time?"

"Whatever bro. Cant hate a playa. If y'all need a moment I can come back later. But does this mean I can hit on Miko-chan yo?"

"er-actually!" Yomiko shouted as she grabbed Shinta by the arm and dragged him out of the house. "Masuyo is probably burning the house down or something we should check on him since he's sick hehehehehahahahahaha ohwhatthefuckamisayingimramblingarentijesuschristbyegoodluckbyebyehahahahahh!" she shouted as she pulled Shinta down the street

"FUCK NO!" Masuyo shouted throwing both girls off of him and staring Kentaro down like a rabid animal. "You can have this though." he said holding Nene infront of him.

"Are you selling me off!?" she shouted.

"NOOOOOOO! NOT NE-CHAN!" Tsubasa shouted trying to pry Nene out of Masuyo's grip

"Erm. What? Um....Hi!" Stefan waved to Karin's Grandmother awkwardly, wondering just what exactly just transpired in the past 30 seconds. The God's must be mad...

"Hahaha relax I was just kidding. tempted tho i may be. its good to see evryone's feeling healthy. which reminds me..." he pulls out his phone and starts typing an email. "how do you guys feel about sneaking into morgues in the middle of the night?"

Karin's grandmother smiled, "Hello. Karin where are your manners? Aren't you going to say hi?"

"Huh? R-right," stammered Karin, "Hey."

Karin's grandmother giggled and walked upstairs, "I'll leave you two to talk."

"Mind telling me what's going on?" asked Shinta, "I thought you were with Masu anyway?"

"Um....Heya." Stefan waved for the third time. "S-sorry for just coming over...If you don't want me here, I can just leave if you want..."

"No, no it's fine," Karin replied, "To be honest you've seemed...distant lately."

"Sorry...To be honest...I wanted to give you some space...I mean, you kinda freaked out on Shinta there...The last thing you needed was me hounding you." Stefan looked away. "I kinda got you when you were emotionally vulnerable too...Every time I would try to help...it just made me look like I was trying to one up Shinta, or I made things worse for you. I just...looking back on it I'm kind of ashamed of myself...Heh. I feel like I haven't learned a damn thing..."

Karin crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, "I'll ignore the part where it sounds like you got laid and don't wanna count it for now. Anyway, so what if you thought it looked like you were trying to one-up him? Were you? If not than it's fine. Otherwise it's like you didn't visit me because you thought you couldn't get with me."

"That's not what I meant." Stefan shook his head. "I was trying to impress you, and for better or worse, Shinta seemed to be your main focus. After a while, I just kinda felt like an asshole. Part of me not visiting you was because I wanted to give you space, and part of it was because I was ashamed of myself. ....I'm sorry." His head hung. "Then doing stuff like this...It makes me feel like a stupid kid. I don't know what to do to make you happy..."

Karin sighed and scratched her head, "Well...just knowing you care makes me happy but...it doesn't do much if you're gonna make yourself miserable for it. As for Shinta...yeah we have a history and he kinda lives here now, but that doesn't mean we're together or anything. I'm not looking for a relationship right now but I gotta say, you always make up some excuse to hold yourself back. Are you afraid of failing? Is that it? You gotta find what you want and go full speed at it. Otherwise nothing'll change."

"You're right...I'm sorry." He raised his head and smiled. "Even if you're not looking for someone, do you mind if we hang out from time to time? Just the two of us? Talking to you....makes things clearer."

"Sure," replied Karin, "that's what friends do after all."

"Yomi," Shinta called, "are you there?"

"Thanks. And...if you change your mind..If you're interested..." He blushed a little.

"Yeah?" Yomiko replied

Shinta answered, "I asked what was going on. You kinda dragged me out without an explanation."

"I'll keep you in mind." Karin said with a giggle.

"Heh. Then I'm at least that successful." Stefan said with a smile. He took the initiative and gave her a hug.

"Oh. I just wanted Stefan to get whatever was bothering him outta his system. The last thing we need is him being all emotional over whatever happened with him and Karin." she said rolling her eyes. "Tell me it wouldn't be irritating."


"No?" Masuyo said. "We have the cops on us enough as it is man. And what the fuck reason would we give if we got caught? We have to keep the TV a secret too."

Karin said nothing and chose to return the hug.

"I see. You have a point," Shinta said, "I wonder if I should talk to him about it later."

"S-so. Um..." Stefan broke the hug and backed away. "Sorry. Heh." He rubbed his head. "So, are you alright? From the hospital I mean."

Maeko was laying on her bed, staring at the ceiling, "Hmm...Where are they? I wonder if anyone saw the food..? Then again, coming from me, they wouldn't trust eating it." She turned over, examining the broken fishing rod. "...Maybe I should go to Junes."

"Yeah, A-ok," Karin said with a grin, "Grandma wanted me to wait a day to be sure, but I think I can start school tomorrow."

"That's good to hear. She must have been really worried about you. She seems really nice and caring." Stefan chuckled.

Karin sheeepishly agreed, "Well...she can be a total hardass sometimes and she's always tryin' to get under my skin...but yeah."
