Persona 4 RP Phase 2

"The TV?" Kitao replied bluntly. "You are part of the group yea?"

"Ah, yes. I am." Maeko replied. So thats where they were.. "So, Kentaro." Maeko turned to Kentaro, abruptly ending her conversation with Kitao. "Where the hell have you been all this time?" She asked, avoiding eye contact with him.

Ami looked at her food and scowled. "You knew them? I mean I know some of them already anyways but I'd like to still eat." she said realizing she spent the entire time talking and not eating. "Besides, this is refreshing compared to how dull and quiet it is at home."

"Heh. You know... around?" Kentaro does a shitty job of dodging the question.

"Ah, yeah. No siblings?" Loud is nice, but sometimes silence is nicer. A rarity these days.

"..." Maeko's eyes squint slightly, making a glare at Kentaro. She then sighed heavily, drooping her shoulders a bit. "Dumbass." At least he's here I guess...still a bit strange he's show up out of nowhere.. Maeko turned abruptly and walked off, making her way to the apartments.

"I have a sibling. A quiet depressing one though." Ami replied.


Nene had just finished her 4th beef bowl. Her eyes looked as if they were going to explode and she had drool running down her chin as she breathed heavily.

"And thats the end for you." Tsubasa said as she stood up and made an X with her arms to tell the waiters to stop bringing her food. "Lets go to the bathroom so you dont embarrass yourself." she said as she grabbed Nene by her arm and dragged her into the bathroom.

"Urrrrrrghhhhhh"


"Ah. I was just gonna ask if you could look into something with me in the TV for a few minutes is all. No fighting or crazed adventures, but I don't exactly have any recon abilities." Masuyo said to Yuichi over the phone

Karin let out a large sigh as she finished her fourth bowl, "Alright, that's...it for...them. One...more." She ordered holding a finger up. Her vision was blurring and her breathing became ragged, but she smiled as if she was overcoming her greatest obstacle.

"Thanks for the meal," said Shinta nonchalantly before saying to Yomiko, "Looks like it's almost over."

"No fighting? Just looking around?" asked Yuuichi placing a finger to his chin, "Alright. I can do that." He nodded. No sense trying to distance myself from this now, I guess.

"At least I HOPE there wont be fighting." Masuyo added. "Cant make promises about that whacked out world after all."

"Yo Kitao. G'luck with your training. Imma go see what state my apartment is in. Tell the others I'll catch up with them later."
and probly get beat by Auntie A for my trouble. at least I have the rent I owe her from while I was gone.

He walks quickly and eventually catches up with Maeko.

"Soo... uh... Maeko... on your way home too?"
smoooth like sandpaper. I still got it.

"Alrighty." Kitao replied. "We'll catch up when they're done." He opened the door to Aiya's and poked his head in. "How's it going in here guys?" He felt like he was looking at a recently used battlefield. "Eeeehhhhhhhaaaahhhhhhhhiiiiiiii'm gonna go with not so good."

"..Hm?" Maeko turned to him, still walking. "Yes. Why do you ask?" Maeko asked, rather bluntly.

"Ah well... just heading there myself. So what've you been up to lately?" says Kentaro

"....Fishing, among other things.." Maeko replied plainly, turning the other way. "What the hell have you been doing all this time?"

Kentaro suddenly stops walking. He hangs his head and clenches his fists frustrated, not really sure what to say.

"I...I was... I was hiding... Fuck. That's all there is to it. I'm a coward that ran away. The whole shadow world thing. I couldn't take it anymore. It was cool at first. Like a game. It didn't even have to be real as long as I had Leanan Sidhe to make the monsters look like something else...
But after what we did at the hospital... it was harder to keep denying the amount of shit we were getting into. I had to grow up. Whether I wanted to or not. I suddenly had people I loved and cared for to think about. So Leanan Sidhe turned to Ishtar and even though I tried to keep reality at bay with jokes I had to really look at what was going on.
But I couldn't for long. And then I got a call from my uncle about some problems with the family so I used it as an excuse to get away.
But I can't get away.... I freaked out, but I'm back. I realized I need you guys, and I'm so sorry..."

Yuuichi chuckled, "I suppose not. Still it would be helpful."

Taro opened the doorway in front of him and saw Jasper and the ritual altar. "I see. Something like this does look like it could be the cause. You see anything else?"

"Er...Hm..."Maeko started, a bit surprised with his answer. She stopped walking and turned to him. "...At least you came back. If you really want to apologize dont bother with words. Fight with us. We need you here too, we're going to need all the help we can get to get this entire situation resolved." Maeko continued, hiding a faint smile. And to be honest..it's nice to have you back.

"Yeah. Yeah you're right. Thanks. Let's go home." Kentaro starts walking again.

"Hm.." Maeko kept quiet. She caught up with Kentaro as they walked to the apartments.

"Welp. You know where I live. Just come meet me there." Masuyo said as he hung up and left the shrine. He noticed Maeko and Kentaro walking together. "D'awwwwwwwwww she looks happy. And shes NOT fishing. Maybe I'll take the long way home."

The two arrive at the apartment, but Kentaro hangs back instead of going in right away.
"Thanks again Maeko. You go on ahead I wanna put off seeing Auntie A just a little longer."
Kentaro circles around to the fire escape on the other side of the building away from the main entrance and climbs up to his floor. He makes it to his apartment door without incident.
"Home free..."
*click rattle* Kentaro's key doesn't fit.
"Well played Auntie A. You changed the locks. Too bad I don't have the security key for the electronic locks. Oh wait. I do. Hehehehe." Kentaro chuckles to himself as he enters the code.
*WOOOH! WOOOH!* the alarm starts blaring.
"Oh fuck me."

"Hm.." Maeko heads inside the apartment towards her room. On her way, she jumps and takes a defensive stance with her harpoon as the alarm blares loudly throughout. "...That fucking dumbass." Maeko sighed, lowering her harpoon.

"Well, I'm a big enough man to admit when I'm wrong," said Shinta crossing his arms as he walked over to Karin, "Five whole bowls and you didn't barf.  I'd congratulate you...if I thought you could hear me."  With a small grin he sighed and shook his head.  Before him Karin sat motionless with her arms draped over her knees and her back slightly arched forward.  A small trail of drool ran down her mouth, but it was still curled in a triumphant smile.  "Ladies and gentlemen, Tomorrow's Karin."  With a grunt he positioned Karin on his back.  Manual labor...is not my strong point, he thought while wincing.

"I salute to thee, Oogami-er, Okazi-san." Yomiko said with a grin. "Well i'd best be taking home Masuyo's share of food. Take care of Nene for us will you Tsubasa-chan?"

"Mmhm." Tsubasa said with a nod. "It'll be a good hour or so. She usually barfs everything she ingested up. Against her own free will at that.

"........Bulimics around the world envy the hell outta you Nene. You really are something." Yomiko said astonished as she exited with SHinta and Karin.



"Alright. Now if things go how they did last time, Yuuichi is probably sitting in my room again." Masuyo said as he went inside and heard the alarm on Kentaro's door. "What? He fucked up the door already? Why didnt he just ask for a key......"

"Because......he knows whats waiting for him............I set this up on purpose. I know Kentaro-kun better than he thinks I do." a voice growled from the shadows in a corner of the lobby. "I knew he wouldn't just come ask for the key whenever he got back.....and now I know.......hes back....and I've got something for him. Oh yes I do......"

".........I'd just like to announce that Im not involved, and im just going to my room." Masuyo said holding his hands up in the air. "Peace be with you." I really hope Yuuichi doesn't encounter Yomi's aunt the way she is right now.....which means he probably will.

"Yeah, if she were conscious I'm sure Karin'd be saying it was a good fight or something." said Shinta with a chuckle.

Yuuichi stood outside the apartment complex with a hesitant look.  He took a deep breath and walked through the door.  He saw Masuyo with his hands up and heard the alarm.  In a panic he threw his hands up, "W-what is that? I-is something wrong, Masuyo-kun?"

"This place really is something," said Taro examining the alter, "you don't get this kind of atmosphere from just any old shadow, rather...it feels like it was designed to bring something here.  Weird."
