Official Final Fantasy topic

talk all FF games here. im working on FF 8 and 9 atm, mainly 8 since im at the end of disc 3. Since syn is coming home next week im trying to get better in dissidia so our fights wont be a 1 sided rape show

I've actually only played two FF games. Final Fantasy 10 and then Final Fantasy Tactics for the GBA.

Auron and Rikku stole my heart in FF10. And Tactics was fun too.

Ok, then all I've played is the GC FFCC, and MLAAK. And I've seen the FF7 movie, but I've never played FF7..

Played: 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, Crystal Chronicles
Finished: 1, 7

VII is still my favorite one. A lot of people have said that it didn't age well because the graphics are now atrocious, but for me, that's a bonus because it makes everything look really funny.

I have the advance remakes of 1-6, 6 being my absolute favorite.

I played 7, but didn't get into it much and gave it back to my friend. I WANT to get 8, but I'm on a hiatus from buying anymore games for now. I have 200 hours worth of RPGs to play and finish already...

Only beaten 4 and five, as well as Crystal Cronicles, and the sequel Echoes of time

It's an okay series, five was my favorite, four was good, six absolutely sucked, felt way to boring, 1, 2, and seven I couldn't get into, 3 was okay till the final area

Played: I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, X, XII, X-2, Tactics Advance, Tactics War of the Lions, CC VII, DoC VII
Beat: IV, VI, CC VII, VII, DoC VII, VIII, X, XII, Tactics Advance

I've played alot of the seires but I only really liked IV, VI, VIII, X, and XII, I beat VII but it wasn't gold, I really couldn't find alot of the characters all that likable aside from Tifa ,Yuffie and Vincent. I liked CC and DoC over all more than the original game.

FF9 is my favorite. Gotta love a not emo super optimist airhead character. Yes, Zidane is none of those, and therefore is epic win. Also he grabs the love interest's ass in the first 2 hours of gameplay

I forgot to mention that (this might surprise you) I prefer the Phantasy Star series due to the fact that they feel more challenging (the Genesis ones not PSO), and they combine all the games into one plotline (including PSO)
