"..............so kicking its ass will fix this??" Masuyo asked

"I get it," Rai said realizing something, "This is a game to the shadow isn't it," he felt like this was what was odd about the shadow.

"Well it isnt! Hey you jackass let us off this damn boat!" Masuyo yelled at the shadow

"TO MUCH TALK, NOT ENOUGH ACTION!"

Kurou slashed his Persona Card and an elven man with a spear appeared.

"SHOOT 'EM DEAD CU CHULAIN"

The man pointed his spear at the shadow and a small windstorm was sent hurtling at Kishin's Shadow.

"No WAIT," Rai went to stop him but it was too later the attack was speeding towards the still developing shadow.

"God damn it Kurou!" Masuyo shouted.

The wind struck the Shadow, causing it to collapse.
It quickly got back up.

Kishin frowned. "Yeah I was afraid of that. We've been watching you fight with your magic card thingys from the observation room over there, so I know how this usually goes.
Also, Shinta, don't worry. Even though you're like, a murderer or something you're still cool in my book."

"I see an observer, great he knows how we all fight," Rai sighed as he began to think of a different move one that might prove useful.

"That's crap, how is that peice of shit even still standi-"

Kurou looked a bit shocked.

"wait...Shinta's a murderer?"

"Kurou focus on the moment, we'll explain it later that isn't important right now," Rai said knowing the shadow was trying to distract them.

"*sigh* No." Masuyo said. "And now isnt the time to care about what he is, hes on our side and thats all that matters"

Kurou sighed...

"You're right..."

He looked over at Kishin's Shadow.

"Hey you, bitch, you say you know how we fight right?"

"I haven't killed jack shit in this world yet so what makes you think you know my moves!"

Kurou smiled and pointed his sword at the Shadow.

Shinta stayed silent for a moment, "So...what's this Shadow's angle? He seems pretty odd compared to Kurou's and my own."

"Don't get cocky Kurou," Rai felt uneasy again "This shadow is very different from what were used to."

"What IS up with it?" Masuyo said. "The other shadows purposely taunted us. But this guy is like "Meh""

"Is this...what's inside Kishin?"

"His inner self yes," Rai said, "His darker emotions more than anything."

The Shadow spoke.

"So. Kurou is completely inexperienced, then? Good to know...
Good to know."

Kishin glared at it.

"Hey! You're talking like you're so tough and all, but I can make you disappear whenever I want. In fact, I'm going to do that right now!"

"Wait...what?" Kurou asked a little scared.

"Make me...disapear?"

"Something...feels very wrong here," Shinta readied his knife.

"THEN DO IT!" Masuyo yelled at Kishin

"DON'T GIVE HIM ANY IDEAS!" Kurou shouted at Masuyo.

"Kurou hes playing with your head," Rai said trying to get him to stop falling for the mind games, "Shadow why don't you show us what you really are face us,"

Kishin walked up to his Shadow.

"You are my dark weakness thoughts or something. Let me guess...war zone, strategy things...you're obviously 'really wants to win at things'. Well yeah, I know that. And I am accepting you, so hurry up and become a card like you're supposed to!"

The Shadow spoke again.

"You don't have a soul."

"...Sonuvabitch," Shinta slipped into his dialect, "this won't end well."
