Persona 4 General Activity

Shinta pulled out his game as he waited outside Junes.

Masuyo arrived at the front of Junes to see Shinta playing his game as usual.
"Hey!" Masuyo shouted trying to get his attention. "Whats goin on?" he asked him.

"Nothing really," Shinta put away his game, "I just figured we'd check out what's new to clear our heads a bit. Y'know with everything that's been goin' on lately."

"Sounds like a good idea. If all this weren't enough now I have issues at the apartment too. Its like theres some force thats out to get me or somethin." Masuyo said as he walked into Junes with Shinta

Shinta chuckled, "Well there is, but I'm pretty sure Shadows aren't gonna start messin' with your home life."

"I wouldn't be surprised." Masuyo said with a sigh. "Geez this is depressing. Lets get some soda."

"Fine by me," Shinta followed Masuyo to the vending machines, "so what exactly's goin' on anyway? Or do you not wanna talk about it?"

"Its just a girl related to the owner. Shes really good looking and nice, but she seems like she's got some issues with herself. And she always brings them up to me in odd ways whenever I mention you guys or something. its pretty creepy." Masuyo told Shinta as he put money into the vending machine

Shinta scoffed, "Who doesn't have issues in this town?" Realizing what he said he took a deep breath, "That...may have been outta line. Sorry."

"Huh? Not really. Its true. The stalker and Rai are like watching paint dry and are more bland than 5 day old cold plain oatmeal, im hyperactive and have all sorts of issues im sure I dont even know of yet, Kishin's sorta antisocial, I just told you about Yomi, my parents are druggies, and you talk funny!" Masuyo said to Shinta as he tossed a soda to him

Shinta caught the can and smirked, "So it is noticeable. I think I started slippin' back into this after meetin' my Shadow." Shinta opened the can and looked into it, Gotta ask: Is that the only habit that's gonna come back? We'll just have to wait 'n see won't we? With a smile Shinta began to down his drink, "Anyway I guess I'm just getting a bit tired of this. The same wake up, eat 'n TV routine. We don't even know who or what's doin' all this or have a plan to stop it. It's all so..." ...boring.

"Boring is what it is." Masuyo said finishing his friend's sentence. "And strenuous and a pain in the ass and aaaaaghhhhh. the only reason I give a damn about all of this is because peoples lives are at stake. But seriously, I gotta wonder why US?"

"Who knows? Maybe that Igor fella Natsuyama talks to can give us a clue," Shinta sighed, "but something tells me that won't tell us much if anything."

"He'll probably spout some philosophical shit like "The answer is within you" or some shit." Masuyo said getting annoyed at the subject. "So whats going on with your life?"

"Nothing," Shinta finished his drink and tossed the can into the trash, "it's been pretty much the same since school ended. So, waddya think about last night? Pretty crazy huh?"

"Yeah. But you would think Rai would actually do something or react y'know? Its almost like we have to TELL him what to say or feel or something." Masuyo said. "I mean seriously, if my girlfriend got shot I woulda turned that place upside down killing the fuck outta the guy who fired at her."

"Maybe he's just holding it in," Shinta shrugged, "It happened so fast, and with everything he may have just shut down."

"Doubtful." Masuyo replied quickly. "I wanna feel bad for doubting this guy having redeeming qualities but I just dont."

"I see," Shinta shrugged, "well I'll admit he has been...less than impressive as of late. But hey, you can't expect everyone to jump at the call." At least not for such heroic reasons. Which reminds me, I need to do somethin' 'bout him and her.

"I suppose." Masuyo said. "I wonder when Kishin is gonna show so we can get going."

"Hey guys!" yelled Kishin from across Junes.

He ran over. "All right, I'm here. What's the situation?"

"Well, we're down two members." Masuyo said. "That obviously isnt going to play well in our hands, because this place could be more dangerous than the last........well, the dungeon BEFORE the last one." Masuyo said shaking his head. "Its only 11, so we have an hour's free time till we get going if any of you guys have anything specific you wanna do."

"Dungeon? Those weren't really...ah, never mind, I think I get it. It'd be a mistake to use up too much energy before going in there so I'll just chill for a while."

"Cool. Then lets go grab lunch." Masuyo said as he headed towards the food court.

"Sounds good to me." Kishin followed.
