No... This is more of an introduction. Will this Ikumi/Izumi/Whatever chick play a major role in the story? I doubt it. But at least the chapters aren't ignoring the canon plot entirely.

I guess I'm being a bit unfair. I AM starting to get a bit interested. But the problem with Bleach now, is that it's making it's Manga to anime form. This scene would have worked well in the anime. But they way it was in the manga, just got confusing.

I was thinking, it'd be kinda cool if Grimmjow came back and was the one to help Ichigo get his powers back.
