So I learned about this Pokemon Tourney coming up in various cities, I was thinking about entering it. I was wondering if anyone else was, more info at http://www.pokemon.com .

The only thing that worries me is that ubers like Mewtwo, Kyogre, Palkia etc are allowed. Not looking forward to Spacial Rend spam and the whole Ludicolo/Kyogre's Fake out/Water Spout combo. But I'm considering joining anyway, anyone else?

I posted a few of things on TC but only started checking it regularly a few days ago and the only thing that suprises me is that I didn't make my way to this thread earlier.
I'm not espescially good at battling (no one to practice with 'til I got decent wifi). but I love Pokemon anyways. My FC for SS is

To Konan: I got some chores to do so i'll log on to the wfc in about 30 mins and stay on as long as i can. my current teams built for singles but if ill give it a shot. im writing this on my dsi so i wont see a reply, ill just get your code and hope you see this in time. otherwise no big deal

To Konan: That was SO Awesome! I hope you don't think I hustled you when I said "easy win". That was actually my first real WiFi match, not counting when I used my little brother to test the connection. I spent hours on serebii and smogon before building that team so it was nice to see it work. Even so it felt like you were gonna beat me when I realized my attackers couldn't take special hits. I always used to play Pokemon alone so thank you very much for that.

I most certainly will. By the way you mentioned ditto. I wouldn't ask you to search for dittos but if you could breed me an abra with one of the natures im missing I'd be more than happy to breed you something. I'd even be happy to try for egg moves if you don't mind the extra time it'd take.

Alright, here I go again. This time I'm breaking it into 3 parts. Please give me any advice/critisisms that come to mind. I'd especially appreciate comments from Hinata 'cause she does doubles. And if Desu sees this please comment as well. It's a double-battle Trick Room team:

1) Espeon@ LightClay
Timid, Synchronize
252 Hp/ 40 Def/ 216 Spe
-Light screen
-Reflect
-Trick room
-Baton pass
First lead. The idea is that a relatively fast Espy sets up screens and TR, then uses BP that hopefully goes 2nd for a free switch in. Unfortunately its Taunt bait, but only you guys'll know right? I'm betting on the fact that Espy is more known as a sweeper.

2) Togekiss @Leftovers
Bold/Relaxed, Serene grace
252 Hp/ split between defenses
-Follow me
-Helping hand
-Air slash
-Roost
Second lead. This keeps the heat of Espy as long as it can, and if it lasts (it should with that spread), it can support the sweeper I bring in with HH and flinch.

Next 2 Pokes are sweepers:

3) Ursaring @ Flame orb
Adamant, Guts
252 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 4 Def or SpD
-Rest
-Sleep talk
-Return
-???
Give it a hug! Trick room is my chosen way to make the Beast that is Ursaring faster than your average bear. Last move is up in the air, if you guys spot a major hole in my coverage I'll fill it with something from Ursa's diverse movepool, and the EV spread is also close to the standard SD sweeper if I need to change it up. The hold item is up for debate too.

4) Marowak @Thick club (of course)
Adamant, Rock head
252 Atk/ up for debate, probably Hp
-Stone edge
-Double edge
-Fire punch
-Earthqu-Earthquake?
Another slow cannon. This is just Smogon's standard set w/out the speed EV's. Earthquake is nerfed in doubles, and I don't feel comfortable hitting my teamates. Bonemerang, maybe?

The only issue with these two is that Mixed sweepers like Octillary or Mixnite are tried and true standards on TR teams, however I like these 2, and doubles seems fast paced so I wanna hit hard, make-or-break style.

I suggest taking out Helping Hand for Togekiss. Actually, I suggest you have Toge set up screens, as I've had a good amount of success with my Dual Screen Togekiss. I run Roost/Air Slash/Screens. Espy can still run trick room, but I suggest it have a Focus Sash and Psychic/Trick Room/Shadow Ball, and maybe something else, like Protect. I can't think of another useful move for a doubles.

Just remember to have those two with the lowest Speed IVs possible, and Speed decreasing natures(Brave).
As for Ursaring, I got no clue... I wouldn't suggest a rest/sleeptalk in doubles unless it's an absolute tank, like Suicune/Miltank. Return is a definite, but I'll have to check it's movepool soon. Definitely want a fighting type move.
As for Marowak, definitely go with Bonemerang. It's pretty awesome.
