"So now what do I do?" Lucy complained. "I don't exactly have the funds to travel by boat to Nordipoloca...."

"Excuse me!" She heard someone say.

"Alright your the boss." Emi said following Cein into the cave.

Jun walks out of Capua Nor with her shoulders slumped and her eyes directed towards the plains around her as she heads off down the path away from town.

"Just my luck when I want to take a boat across the sea to Capua Torim I just have to lose the Gald I saved up all thanks to my own family who made me repay there own debt".

Walking along the path Jun takes out the few monsters she encounters along the way as she soon see's in the distance Ehmead Hill and beyond that Halure and also Deidon Hold.

"Maybe I can find some work and also because I am a mage they could use me for magical combat".

Jun soon makes her way through Ehmead Hill and see's a few people on the road to other people she looks like an every day traveler even if she is carrying a scroll.

She is also dressed in a simple purple dress with white stockings and black shoes though the dress has differrent symbols on it and for a girl she is pretty tall with her long purple hair done into a ponytail and violet eyes studying her surroundings.

As she walks out the exit of Ehmead Hill she can see off in the distance A very large tree and what looks like a city beneath it as she can see that the sky is getting dark so she finds a spot just off the main road and sets up camp for the night and lies down in a bedroll and dozes off.

"Watch out theres something coming out of the water ahead of us." Cein drew his weapons.

Emi raised her fists and entered her fighting stance, she squinted barely able to see in the dark, "Hey is there anything we can do for light?"

"We should probably find a place to sleep........" Axel said seeing the sun begin to set. "We dont want to be ambushed."

"Yeah. We wasted the entire day following Lucy around. yeesh." Onyx said irritated.

"My name is Kaufman. I'm the-"

"The leader of Fortune's Market, correct?" Lucy responded. "I've heard of you."

"Indeed. You look like you know how to fight. Care to make some money?"

"....What's the job?"

Noah took one last look in the direction Axel and Onyx came from before finally answering, "...Right."

"Is something wrong?" Onyx asked Noah

"To be honest," Noah replied, "I am a little concerned about Miss Lucy."

"She'll be fine." Onyx said. "She was going on and on about her amazing abilities earlier."

"I think she'll be alright as long as she doesnt try taking any dangerous jobs." Axel said. "I think we should worry about ourselves now though." he said pointing at a group of bandits pulling out their knives to attack them. There seemed to be about four or five of them.

"I see," Noah sighed and turned to face the bandits, "Well then, shall we begin? Perhaps this will help me clear my head." Noah reached for his belt where a steel baton was fastened.

"I'll take the lead." Onyx said as he dashed towards the group of bandits and swiftly dashed through them with his assassian-like skills and slashed the throat of one from behind.

"Watch out!" Axel said as he shot an aqua laser through two of them blasting them away from Onyx.

"Gotcha you little punk!" the remaining thief shouted as he dashed to stab Axel.

"Shoot." he muttered to himself

Noah pointed his baton at the thug attacking Axel, "Ice Arrow Forte." A flurry of large ice shards assaulted the brigand.

"The hell is that!?" Onyx asked stunned by Noah's technique.

"Woah! Thanks!" Axel said. "You saved my butt! Though that makes my magic look even more pathetic than it already is.........."

"Think nothing of it," said Noah, "Now that I think of it, I never revealed my abilities to any of you. I must apologize."

"Thats alright." Axel said. "Well then, I guess we can set up camp here. Theres some bushes we can hide behind." he said as he layed out a sleeping mat Noah's parents gave him. "This will keep us safe from monsters." he said as he set up a barrier around the area.

"Nice." Onyx said. "Well then," he said as he lied on the ground, time to get some shut eye."

"G'night Noah." Axel said as he drifted off to sleep.

"One sec," Cein put something on his arm, "There." a light lit up the area around them, "Alright lookout."

"...." Lucy looked around, finding herself on the way to Capua Nor, now as an escort for Kaufman, leader of Fortune's market.

"I can't tell you how happy I am that you accepted my offer. One of the more recent passerbys in Deidon Hold flat out refused my offer."

"He must not need the money as much as I do." She responded. "Plus, I'm trying to get away from the Empire."

"...Why? Do you have an issue with them I should be aware of?" Kaufman inquired.

"No. The Empire doesn't want me or anything. They're just making me nervous with the way their moving now."

"...How so?"

"...I suppose it'd be fine to tell you. Someone in the empire is working on a weapon of sorts. He's planning to use Blastia cores to create a weapon that will repulse monsters from themselves. Basically creating a barrier within the monster."

"That sounds....Messy. But effective." Kaufman placed a hand on her chin, thinking about the idea of the weapon.

Emi swung at a crab that lundged out of the water at them, "Whoa," after missing the crab retreated back under the water, "Uhh how many do you think there are."

Jun wakes up the next day and puts her traveling gear back in her bag and begins to walk off down the road with her thoughts about her travel expanses and such knowing that she would need a job.

"Darn it why did my parents have to go and mess around with me and make me pay off there debt now I am stuck here on the wrong side of the ocean when I want to get to Dahngrest".

Jun screams more to herself since so far she has not met many people on the road so she knows that she can get away with as she veers away from Halure and in the direction of Deidon Hold knowing that there could be more jobs at the hold then Halure.

"No idea," Cein said swinging at a noise in the dark, he hit a crab in the claw, "Oh great they are completely around us."

"So what do we do," Emi said watching the water around where they were standing shift.

"Make em come to us," Cein said backing up against Emi's back, "This is how we'll get them watch my back and I'll watch yours."

"Alright, boss." Emi kicked at a crab that was coming out of the water, the kick scraped the crabs head causing it to dive back under the water.

"Demon Fang," Cein swung his sword launching a shock wave off his blade, it hit a crab that was surfacing stunning it. He watched for others to surface.

Emi spotted a monster getting ready to come out of the water, "Shadow Rush," Emi lunged forward her fist vanishing till it came in contact with the crab.

Axel yawned loudly as he woke up when the sun began to shine in his face.


"Maaaaan. That felt nice." he said to himself as he saw that Noah and Onyx were still sleep.
