I downloaded the demo 2 days ago. Its actually aparently a "prolouge leading up to the actual game for dissidia 2. It has a story mode (you play as lightning for nearly all of it) and Arcade mode. Its pretty fun, and they added some new tracks I definetely wanted (FF8 boss theme, FF9 final boss theme, Blinded By light and Saber's Edge)

This is hasn't been confirmed yet but from the looks of it Gilgamesh and a few others will be appearing in Dissidia 012. Gilgamesh will be the third character for the cast of FFV.

Sweeeeeet DLC music.

Hopefully it'll let us play the original versions of songs they remix. And Test of the L'cie better be in Dissidia 2.

So it comes out in a week, I'm gonna try to see if I can't persuade my folks to get me a PSP and that game for my birthday, if not I sure the hell am getting this over the course of the summer. Who else will be getting this when it comes out stateside?

just a quick question for those who got the first game (I figure the sequels online play would be modeled after the first one). Would I have to get the Ad Hoc thing for the PS3 in order to play this online, cause online play is a decent part of the reason why I want the game.

Yeah you need Adhoc to play PSP games online. Theres some thing called Xlink kai that you can use your laptop/computer to play online too, but i dunno how to work it

Thanks for letting me know before I actually got this so I can make a better decision.
