Karin quickly grabbed her trembling fist and took a deep breath, "I see. If that's your opinion then I can see while you don't understand him. I've had a year to know him, while you've only known him a day. Anyway the reason I asked you is because I'm...unsure."

"Hellooooooo" Yomiko said walking into the bath.

"Wha-wha-wha-what are you doing here?" Masuyo asked.

"Im bored! Kentaro is sleep and you guys are here!" Yomiko shouted red in the face

"And the girls?" he asked.

"Sleeping. Well I think." she said.

"Okay?" said Shinta with a raised eyebrow, "What's up?"

"I just said im bored! Jeez!" Yomiko whined.

"Sheesh Yomi.........are you okay?" Masuyo asked.

Yomiko scowled at Masuyo. "Shut up."

"Someone's on her period." Masuyo mumbled.

"...Unsure about what?" She asked. "...Is this about Shinta?"

"Amy!" Toshiyuki walked into her house, turning off the alarm.

"A-are you okay?!" She said noticing his injuries.

"I got into a fight with Banchou. Nothing serious. We're leaving here and going to my base." He said in a hurry, moving to the living room.

"W-what? Wait, slow down." She followed after him.

"At this point it's too dangerous for us to be split all around. Call Stefan and have him come over here. He'll take you to the base." He explained to her.

"I'll call him, but I'll walk on my own." She said.

"....Really? Despite your recent cowardice?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I told you, when things get serious, I won't fail you." She said sternly.

"..." He smiled and patted her shoulder. I'd almost forgotten why I chose this one.

"Where are you going?" She asked as he began moving again.

"You're meeting up with Stefan. With you two and me, we're missing one. I'm heading to the hospital." He responded.

"This late?" She responded. "Would you even be able to get in?"

"Not through traditional means." He stared at the TV.

"...Will you be okay on your own? How will you be able to find him?"

"Of course. And I am a sensor type. Each TV is a way out, as well as in. You've just got to make the exit." He began stepping into the TV. "Go, call Stefan. I'll be back within two hours. We'll meet you at the base."

"I meant 'What have you been up to since I went into the TV and got my ass beat?'" quipped Shinta.

"No, not Shinta." replied Karin.

"Not much. Got to listen to Dahni hit on Masuyo in my face again, talked about killing people, yep thats about it. Reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaallly great time so far." she said sarcastically.

"You look weird with wet hair." Masuyo randomly pointed out. "Its kinda cute."

"Shut up." she said putting her face in the water.

"Then what? What's wrong?" She asked.

"I'm...unsure of what I should do." explained Karin, "Masu and Shinta...they're so resolved. It makes me wonder if...I haven't been taking this seriously enough. I wonder...how I could face Aniki after all this."

"I see," Shinta chuckled, "Sounds rather eventful."

"...Karin. Why do you have to prove yourself to Tamaki? And it's not like I'm any better....at least you can fight." She responded.

"Because obviously I look up to him!" Karin strongly answered, "He's done so much for me, he took me in, treated me like family, taught me so much and never asked anything in return. That's why...I want to be someone who he can be proud of. Someone who honors his teachings. And right now...I know I'm not." She looked away at the ground with a downcast expression.

"Eventful?" Yomiko said back. "Try "Annoying as hell"."

"..Karin, you shouldn't think like that." She rubbed her shoulder. "I doubt that he thinks that critically of you. And even if he does, it's not like you can't improve yourself at all." She smiled at Karin. "Rather than looking for Tamaki's approval, why not look for your approval of yourself to start? Work your way up. Be proud of yourself, then others will learn to be proud of you. No one's gonna expect you to be perfect right away. And regardless, we all count on you. You've been involved in this longer than most of us, and you already have combat experience. If nothing else, you have my admiration. I'm proud to call you a friend."

"Maybe you're right. I dunno," Karin scratched her head, "it's just...I feel like I should be doing more. Like there's gotta be something I can do for everyone, right?"

"I think everyone feels that way...I know I do...Say...do you think you could help me train a little? I mean...that's a way for you to do more, and it'll help me to help more." She rubbed the back of her head and laughed. "I don't think I'm ready for the advanced class with Banchou and Tamaki."

"Um...I'm not much of a teacher, but if you really want to, then I'll do everything I can to teach you." Karin held her hand out and gave a toothy grin, "Thanks, Dahni. You've given me a lot to think about."

"Don't hesitate to call on me again." She smiled, shaking her hand. "We're friends after all, right? ...I just wish Yomiko would be more friendly." She put her hands behind her back. "I guess I can't really blame her, I did have a crush on her boyfriend for a while after all."

"So..........what're we doing about all of these crazy people around here?" Masuyo asked. "That nurse bitch sounds more dangerous, but Toshiyuki is probably easier to beat. What do you two think?"

"Having Toshiyuki outta our hair sounds nice, but the guy does next to nothing." Yomiko said shaking her head with a pompous grin. "Why should we worry about an insect like him? I say go for the predator before it preys on us." she said meaning Mikako

"I agree," Shinta said with a nod, "I spoke to him earlier. From the sounds of it he's in no position to do anything." The only issue is making sure us taking out this nurse won't give him the breathing room he needs.

"Just give her time." assured Karin, "Hell I really didn't like you at first, but now...well, here we are."

"Geez. Thats sad as fuck. What kind of villian reveals himself before even having a plan? I mean I know people online have been saying the quality in anime has been plummeting but still......."

"This isn't an anime." Yomiko said scowling.

"We have magic faeries and crazy assasain nurse bitches and some pasty fucker wearing all black. This is an anime." Masuyo said with an agitated look.

".........sounds like a stupid one." Yomiko said looking at the water. "So if he has no plans then should we just all hit up Mikako?"

"Actually." Masuyo said. "That'd be a problem. Our group is WAY too big for that. Just Kentaro and I had hell dodging a shit load of traps and concealed weapons in their run down side base. The larger the group the more danger we're in. If we could find an alternate entrance and have a 2 team assault however......"

"And you said you don't think these things through." quipped Shinta dryly.

"I said in FIGHTS I dont." Masuyo shot back. "But this shit is real now. We gotta actually think shit through now."

"We cant count out interruptions either. What if Stefan decides to conveniently show up like he did with Tanamura-san." Yomiko added. "Maybe sending a team to distract Toshiyuki while the other team takes out the nurse is a good idea. Less fire power, but not as easily detected, and the chance of a pincer attack is eliminated."

Shinta smirked, "Not a bad plan. Speakin' of Tanamura, when do you think he'll show again?"

"Heh...thanks I think." She chuckled a little. "...Anyway, we really should get to bed. We have been up for over a day after all..." She yawned again. "If you ever need anything else, don't hesitate to ask."

"Rodrigo." Toshiyuki popped through the tv at the hospital room. "Time for us to leave."

"Leave? But you just got here." Rodrigo's raspy voice laughed before breaking out in a cough.

"Indeed." He pulled the curtain off that was hiding Rodrigo, revealing him. A sickly sweat and pus covered heap of a man. He sat in a wheelchair, an oxygen mask around his face, his skin covered in boils.

"You know, the doctors kept that up to help prevent my disease from spreading." He coughed and laughed more.

"Well, we both know that what you have isn't contagious." He said, walking around and wheeling him toward the TV.

"I could make it contagious if I wanted. Hehehe." He began hacking again. "...I don't see myself climbing into that like this though."

"....Indeed..." He looked at the TV, sitting on the shelf. "Lucky at least you got a big screen."

"Small comforts for a 'sick and dying kid.' These morons wouldn't know what makes someone comfortable if it hit em in the face." He chuckled again, remarkably not breaking into a cough.

"....About that." Toshiyuki left from behind the wheelchair and grabbed hold of the TV. "....I won't be able to do anything about the fall though."

"I'll handle that."

"Meet you in a bit." He grabbed the TV and dropped it on Rodrigo, who disappeared into the TV world. It smashed on the ground, making a loud noise.

"W-what's going on in there?!" A voice from the hallway called. "Rodrigo, are you alright?!"

"Damn." He pulled out his gun and covered his face with a blanket. The nurse opened the door and gasp. "Please. Don't move, or I'll be forced to shoot." Looks like I'm starting to become Al.

"Aiee!!" The nurse screamed. "W-what happened to Rodrigo?! W-who are you?!"

That's that Dahni girl's mother, no? Small world. "I dunno who you're talking about lady, I'm here to rob a tv. This one's broken, get the fuck out of here before I shoot you." He swayed his gun at her, she ran off. Toshiyuki walked out of the room and called out to her. "And tell Mikako I said hello!" He ran into the next room ignoring the patients in there. "...Congratulations." He said to a pregnant woman, before jumping into the TV.

"Who knows?" Yomiko said. "Don't you have his number?"
