Maeko pushed Dahni's arm off. "Happened with what?"

"That...guy. Your grandpa's old friend." She said. "I just wanted to see if you were okay."

"..." Maeko started walking again. "I'm perfectly fine, just the same helpless little girl I was 10 years ago. Nothing's changed. Toshiyuki showed me that."

"True." She said. "You also seem like you have a brain out of most people in this group." Misaki said with a grin. "So what all transpired in the TV?"

Shinta responded, "Not much. Went to a creepy church. Fought Death. Got new allies. Oh, and Toshiyuki died."

"And you're as tactful about it as ever." said Karin with a sigh.

"What..? Listen, we're all still so young, you don't have to be so mature already." Dahni protested. "And who the hell cares what that ass had to say!"

"But...after all this, after killing the man that ruined my life. I thought I would be happy that that man was finally gone from the world would make me feel better about that, but I feel worse than before. Not from killing someone, but the fact that I spent so much time wanting to kill him, and I finally did...what comes after that?" Maeko mumbled, still walking along, making her way to the river.

"Maeko..." Dahni kept up alongside her. "Did you really think that killing someone would make you feel better? No matter who." She shook her head. "It's wrong. I understand why you did it, but nothing good comes from killing someone. I mean...that's why we're all fighting so hard. E-er...But I don't mean to lecture you..." She blushed and tilted her head down.

"No, talking...is good." Maeko mumbled. "...Perhaps that's true, but killing wasnt the only thing I was after, I wanted to prove to myself that I had overcome the thought of being afraid of betrayal. You heard all of that when I fought..Toshiyuki. But even then..I still hadn't. And began to doubt I ever will. I'm still that scarred little girl." Maeko rambled on unintentionally. She walked down the river back and sat in the grass, facing the water as her hat covered her eyes.

"...But that's what you have us for." She sat next to her, putting her arm around her shoulder. "..Well I mean...I know you're scared of betrayal...So all I can do is promise we won't. But I know that doesn't help..Um..." Dahni sat awkwardly trying to string words together.

"Uh huh......." Misaki said with a raised eyebrow. "Well Toshiyuki's dead so all is well yes?" she said to Shinta. "Now we have to figure out how to retaliate against Mikakao. Any ideas?" she asked with her arms crossed.

"...So what comes next then? Living alone, without worry of betrayal. Or having friends, always being scared of the possibility?" Maeko said, staring blankly at the river.

"Well..." Dahni muttered. "...I wish my expression was better...Well, maybe you should make as many friends as possible, that way if someone betrays you, you have plenty more to rely on!" She said with forced enthusiasm, chuckling nervously.

"So lets see here...passed the the Textiles place, turn left, keep going down. Alright, now straight down here and look out for a dark blue door." Dakichi says jogging down the path. "SWEEEEET! Here it is!!! I wonder how excited Grammy and Gramps are gonna be to see me. Well then, here goes." Dakichi shouts as he prepares himself to knock on the door. It had been a long time since he had even seen his grandparents. Anxiously, Dakichi knocks on the door and hopes they would recognize him.

"At the moment, no." replied Shinta seriously, "Truth be told, unless I can figure out the secret behind her...switching Personas, was it? Anyway, I doubt I'll be much help."

"If one does it, whos to say the others won't as well? Wouldn't they be more apt to it?" Maeko asked, turning over to her with a depressed expression.
