Yep. You can involve yourself with people already RPing, or start a different plot thing all on your own.

Also, as it appears, it seems that we've all gone off on our own tangents. (Which I figured might happen.) I still want everything to intertwine together in the end, and I figured out a way to do it and for all the characters to meet. It will be triggered by a specific event that the main character will complete, and everyone will have to stop what they're doing at that time and join in on the event. It'll be the only time I ever really take control of what happens exactly all on my own, rather than leaving it up to the players. A small price to pay IMO, but if you're character refuses profusely to tag along in the event, then I suppose I can't stop you.

For those of you who have played the game, you might be able to figure out what it is. keep it to yourself though, so you don't spoil it for the dullards who haven't played Gold or Silver. (Or Crystal I guess. But you couldn't get Mareep in Crystal, so the game was rubbish.)

I'm heading for a gym right now but haven't gotten the first one is it still okay for me to challenge her?

Yeah. Only the main character needs to really follow the strict formula for the game.

But if that's the case, why did I have start with an Eevee and not one of the 2nd Gen starters? I mean, I love Eevees, I'm just curious. =x

Cause I know there are a lot of people that want the starters too. So I decided to make Eevee unavailable to everyone right now, and then they could get the starters.

And you're no more restricted than you are in the game. less so.

Yeah. I figured that's what you were going for with the egg being your only pokemon. Something like Misty, or Brock. Or one of those other people that really just suck.

If you want to be pro, get a numbered list of all attacks in Diamond/Pearl, and then use a random number program to pick one.
