The Pokemon Roleplay

As he was walking up to Elm's lab, he overheard the girl ask how to get to Cherrygrove, which made him pause for a moment. Although he was new to the area, he made it a policy to carry maps around with him at all times, and could easily show her how to get there.
"Nah, no need. That guy'll probably show her. If she's still lost after I'm done in here, I can help her then."
Gastly nodded in agreement. It looked as though he was curious about the lab as well.

The door was unlocked. Inside were a bunch of strange machines and a few researchers hard at work on something or other.
Michael walked up to one of them. "Uh... excuse me. Is it all right if I look around a bit?" he asked.
"Yeah, sure." replied the researcher. "Just don't touch anything, of course..."
"I figured as much... all right, thanks." He set off deeper into the lab.
"Gastly, don't do that. These guys are working on science."
Gastly, who had been breathing on the back of a researcher's neck, then vanishing whenever he looked around, sorrowfully drifted back to Michael's side.

"Hmmm...." Elm said, working on his current project. "Oh?" He said, noticing Michael. "Another guest? Are you new in town?"

Mufasa wrote:"Um..." He looked around. "Yeah. I just came from there....apparently. Though, I probably shouldn't head back there so soon..."

"Oh...I'd hate to ask but, can you help me get to Violet city? Please?", Jenna asked shyly as she looked away.

"Ugh...." Mike said, thinking about the hassle he got himself into. "I'm not gonna be carrying around dead weight. You have a pokemon, I can see that. You know how to use it?" Mike folded his arms

"W-well...um..No, I've never battled before, this isn't even mine. I'm just borrowing it...", She said quietly while holding and looking at the pokeball with Eevee she'd received from Elm.

Sothe stood up as the maid knocked on his door.

"Figures most people are out about now."

He got up and grabbed his things as he left the room to the Maid.

"Say would you like to go see a real trainer in action when you get off your shift?"

After 20 minutes of writhing in pain from the crotch shot he received after that line he exited the hotel to find a nice soft park bench he could crash on until the maid was done with his room.

"Great...probably won't even leave a mint on my pillow"

As he walked out of the Hotel he saw two people standing on the side walk in front of his hotel, he didn't look twice at the guy but the girl...she was what caught his attention.

"Hmmm...I'm already 0 for 2 today..."

He was about to move on and find that park bench when he noticed a rather busty researcher entering the lab.

"Shall we go 0 for 3? I think so"

and he walked after her into the lab.

"...." Mike facepalmed. He then screamed as it aggrivated his hangover. "Alright, fine. Here." He tossed her an empty pokeball. "I'm gonna teach you to catch your own pokemon, that way you won't be left without anything when you have to give it back. Now. Let's go find us a pokemon. Keep your eyes open."

"Hm? Oh, uh, hey. Yeah, I just moved in. I'm Michael Katz," he said, shaking hands with the professor.

Sothe continued to wander the lab but found no trace of that busty Scientist.

"Well there goes my Monday."

He noticed a teenager with a Ghastly...

He walked over to him.

"Yo, I got nothing to do for the next hour, wanna battle?"

"Uh... well, sure. Does this happen all the time around here?" he asked the Professor.
"We should probably take it outside though. Wouldn't want to mess up anything in here."

"Badass, and as for the whole 'does this happen often' thing, yeah this sort of things happens way more often then you'd think"

Sothe walked outside and waited for the professor and his opponent.

"Uwaaaaaahhhhhhhh...." Eric yawned laying in the sun. He was letting his eevees play with the eevees he was looking after for the time being. "As much as I love the litte punks, I think I might be a little in over my head" he laughed as an eevee crawled up to his face and sniffed it.
"Whoah whoah hey dont put your nose on mine it tickles damn it" Eric yelled as he grabbed the eevee and playfully ruffled its fur with both his hands. "Take that ya lil punk!" he said while smiling. "Hmm.....guess we should head back" he said as he rang a bell which made all the eevees safely follow him back to Azalea town.

Once outside, Michael took one of the Pokeballs off of his belt, attempted to twirl it on his finger, and dropped it.
"Hold up let me get that... alright. Now if you were looking for a challenge, I'm probably not the best guy to have asked, but I'll give it my best shot."
Looking at Gastly, who had been staring intently at the newcomer, he said, "I know you want your shot at this, but this is a good chance to test out my newer guys, all right?"
Gastly started spinning around, which probably meant "All right".
"Right then. Ready when you are."

[Since type differences matter, I'm putting the Pokemon I'll be using in the spoiler tags here.]

Sothe smiled as he reached into his coat pocket and produced a Poke'ball.

"Knock 'em dead Treecko."

He tossed his Poke'ball and a Treecko appeared.

Let's get this underway then.

Trainer Battle theme
"Let's rock, Staryu! Wait, maybe not..."
But he had already thrown the Pokeball. Staryu launched into the air with a triumphant "HYAH" which is the sound that Staryu makes.
"Great. Well, I wasn't really expecting to win anyway. Let's get this over with."
"Hyah?"
"Uh, I mean, I have faith in you Staryu! Hmm...try to keep Treecko disoriented! Stay in the air, and keep moving!"

Staryu started to spin rapidly in the air above Treecko.

Staryu's HP: 100%

"Treecko, Use Leer"

Treecko used Leer to lower Staryu's Defence.

Treecko's HP: 100%

"Argh! I forgot all about that one. I'm more rusty than I thought... oh well, Staryu, spin attack that Treecko and retreat! Keep your distance!"

Staryu launched itself at Treecko, spinning rapidly.

Mike tossed his own pokeball at the Pichu, which hit the Pichu on the head, and the Pichu receeded into the ball. "Heh. Easy as one, two, th-" The Pichu broke out of the pokeball. "Eh!?"

"Piiiichu!" The Pichu used a headbutt on Mike, knocking him to the ground, while screaming in agony over his hangover.

"GAH!!! What's with today and me getting hit on the head!?!?!" He got up, only to see the Pichu run off. "Oh no you don't you little electric rat! Now it's personal! Come on kid!" With that, Mike ran into the brush after the Pichu.

Ii hit Treecko for decent amount of damage causing him to jump back a bit.

"NOW TREECKO WHILE HIS DEFENCE IS DOWN"

"MEGA DRAIN!!"

Treecko launched the Grass Element Life Draining Attack at Staryu.

It was super effective and healed Treecko's wounds from the last attack.

Michael winced as Mega Drain connected and Staryu collapsed, taking heavy damage (60%HP remaining).
"Come on, Staryu! This isn't over yet! Well actually it kind of is but still... Uh... Alright, different plan! Don't go anywhere near it. Just use uh... I dunno whatever ranged attacks you have!"

Staryu leapt back up, spun away from Treecko, and sprayed a jet of water from its core at it.

"But not water attacks oh too late"

"This is really un-fair bro, let's make this a bit more fun"

"Get back Treecko!"

He produced another Poke'ball.

"Take Names, Weavile"

A Weavile appeared.

Weavile's HP: 100%

"Your move friend"

"Gasp! Aww! A Pichu!! H-hey, wait up! And stop calling me "kid"!" Jenna shouted quickly while placing Eevee's pokeball back in her bag, as she then followed Mike and the Pichu.

"Dammit! Where the hell did that rat go!?" Mike looked through the brush and tried to spot the Pichu. "Grrr.....Imma nab that sucker." He looked through more brush, trying to find it. "You see it?!"

"Ah..Ow.." Jenna was on her hands and knees looking through the bushes. "No...Ah! Wait! I think I found it!", Jenna exclaimed as she spotted the Pichu's tail sticking out of a bush. She quickly reached her hands into the bush and pulled out the Pichu. "I got it!"

"Piichuu!!" the Pichu yelped as it released electricity out of it's cheeks and onto Jenna.
"Ooowww!!" Jenna yelled as she released the Pichu from her grip. The Pichu fell to the ground and scurried to make it's escape.
