The Pokemon Roleplay

"Grrrr. I'll get you, you little rat!" He ran in the direction of the Pichu, and drew a pokeball from his belt. "Metalmech! Iron Head!" Mike's Aron popped out of it's pokeball and slammed it's head down, just in front of the Pichu. "Hah! You're mine now!"

"Piii...." The Pichu growled as it found itself unable to escape. "Chu!!!!" The Pichu used thundershock, attempting to get MetalMech out of the way.

"Metalmech! Charge at it with Metal Claw!" Mike's Aron followed it's order, and ran toward the Pichu, avoiding the thundershock, and slashing at the Pichu.

"Pichu!" The Pichu dodged the Metal Claw, then followed up with Agility, still trying to get past.

"Metalmech! Take aim and use headbutt! Then follow up with Iron tail!" Metalmech responded with an affirmative squeal. He charged at the Pichu, hitting it square in the head.

"Piii...!" The Pichu winced at the direct attack, and stumbled back. It attempted to regain it's footing, but Metalmech was too fast, and slammed down on the Pichu with his attack.

"Hah! Take that! Nice going Metalmech!" Metalmech squealed in triumph. Mike held out Metalmech's pokeball and returned it. "Now...." Mike reached at his side for an empty pokeball. "Huh? ....DAMMIT! That one pokeball was the last one I had! I should have picked it back up..." Mike continued to mumble to himself.

"....Ah! Now's my chance!", Jenna said to herself as she remembered the Pokeball Mike gave her moments before. She reached into her bag and threw the empty ball at the Pichu. "Ha Take that, Pichu!", Jenna said as the ball hit the Pichu's head and it receded into the ball.
Jenna stared anxiously at the wiggling pokeball, soon after the ball stopped.
"Yaay! My first catch! I got a Pichu!" She squealed happily as she ran and picked up the ball.

"Eh?! HEY! THAT WAS MINE!" Mike said, as he saw his prey get snatched up by someone else.

"Ahh! I-I'm sorry!! You were out of empty pokeballs, and I figured since you gave me one...I love Pichus...I'm sorry..", Jenna replied shyly as she backed away and held the pokeball closer to her.

"...." Mike gave her a look. "Oh fine. Now I guess I have to go to Cherrygrove to stock up on supplies again.... Let's go Jenna." He finally said, putting his hands in his pockets and hunching his back.

"Ah, O-ok!" Jenna said as she followed and walked behind him.
"Come on out, Pichu.", Jenna said as she released the Pichu from it's ball. "Pii!" The Pichu squeaked, happy to see it's new trainer. "You're gonna stay out here from now on. ♪", Jenna said as she petted her Pichu and placed it on her shoulder.

"....You're gonna leave that rat out of it's pokeball? Weirdo." Mike scowled.

"H-Hey, Shut up! It's my Pichu! I'll do what I want!", Jenna barked at him, the Pichu stuck out it's tongue at him.

"It was MY pokeball, I weakened it, by all accounts it should be mine. Besides, I'm doing you a favor, remember? The least you could do is be nice to me." Mike grumbled. "Let's go Jenna."

Sothe was distracted from the battle by a man shouting at a Pichu.

"Beats me. Probably about a day. Maybe less. So, tell me about yourself. Why do you need to go to Cherrygrove anyway?"

"Hm, ok. I thought I told you...but I need to get Violet City, well Route 31 more specifically. I need to deliver something.", Jenna told him as she petted her Pichu's head.

"Ah. Well what about you? Where are you from? Whatcha delivering?"

"Well...This, I dunno what it is...", she pulled out a package from her bag. "But I'm from Saffron originally, but I moved to New Bark not too long ago.", She explained. "Where are you from? Cherrygrove?".

"Saffron? Isn't that like the biggest city in Kanto? And no, I'm not from Cherrygrove. I'm from Goldenrod."

"Yeah, but my family wanted to go somewhere more quiet. I miss Saffron.. Oh! Goldenrod? I've always wanted to visit there! How is it there? What's the Radio Tower like?", Jenna asked anxiously.

"Hey dude, hurry up and finish this battle so we can start developing our characters!"

"Er. I haven't been there for a few years. But from what I can remember it's alright. I never visited the radio tower myself."

"Oh, I see...Why did you leave Goldenrod? Why are you here?", Jenna asked as she continued to pet her Pichu.

"Long story. Let's just focus on getting to Cherrygrove. I prefer not to talk about my childhood." Mike kept moving toward Cherrygrove.

"Oh, ok. Sorry..." Jenna quietly replied as she continued to follow Mike. Jenna glanced at the scenery around her, "So...um...Are...we almost there?"

"Yeah?" Mike said, anxious to just get to Cherrygrove and get rid of his extra baggage.

"Ah...I'm just trying to start conversation...but if you don't feel like talking, that's ok."
