The Pokemon Roleplay

Jenna turned over to Mike. "Shouldn't you pay more attention? What if something bites really quick?"

"Oh please. There's no way that I'm gonna get any bites this quickly. If at all. Mind your own- GZAHHH!!!" suddenly the rod shook as Mike frantically held onto the rod.

"See!? I told you! Quick! Reel it in!", Jenna said as she looked at Mike, still sitting casually in her place though.

"I'm working on it, dammit!!!" Mike yelled as he struggled with the rod.

"Sigh, Pichu. Hold this", she handed the rod to pichu. Pichu had a confused look on it's face as it struggled to hold up the rod. "Here, lemme help!", She grabbed the rod and started reeling it in.

Jose popped out of nowhere next to Micheal shouting, "SURPRISE!!!" and jumping on Ghastly.

Jose fell through Gastly, who looked down at him curiously.

Michael stopped walking and looked to see what the noise was.
"Oh, it's Jose. Hey there. Uh, sorry for leaving you behind, I couldn't find you-
Uh, do you need some help there?"

He landed face first in the ground and said, "No." it came out muffled. His egg rolled out of the bush. He pushed up and spit dirt out. "Well that's fucking tasty." He got up, dusted him self off and picked up his egg. "yea and thanks for leaving me behind. That was real sweet of you."

"I just said..." Michael's eye twitched.
Gastly did a backflip, and he appeared to check himself.
"Whatever. I'm heading for the gym in Ecruteak. You can tag along, if you want."

"Grrr! This bugger's giving me quite a fight! It must be huge! I'm surprised that this rod isn't snapping in half!" Mike commented as he struggled with the rod.

"Well, it is the "super" rod..." The owner said as he watched the two battle the rod.

"Heh this is quite entertaining to watch," Allen said laughing as he watched Gible play throw the rock in the water, while also watching the two try and fish.

He laughed and patted Micheal's back. "What? Can't take a joke buddy? and yea, i'll tag along. Got nothing else better to do." He said with a goofy grin on his face. "Now! off to..." Dramatic pose time, "ADVENTURE!!!!" He pointed in a random direction with a confident smirk on his face.

"...It's this way. I have a map, you know..."

He turned in the direction Micheal pointed out and said, "ADVENTURE!!!" with the same confident smirk. He twitched a bit.

"GRRR!!!" Mike pulled on the rod excessively, sweat formed on his brow. "This thing has got to be huge!!! GRAARRRR!!!!!" Mike pulled on the rod, and at the end of the string was a large boot. ".....You've got to be kidding me." The owner couldn't help but snicker.

Jenna placed her hand on her head and sighed. "Sigh, well that was a waste...", She returned to her spot and sat down with pichu, who was still struggling with the rod.

"....How did a boot give me that much trouble?" Mike grumbled as it occured to him. "Hey! This is a super rod! What's with the ripoff!?!?!" The owner shrugged. Mike looked back to the boot and saw a tongue sticking out of it. "....Please don't tell me this is a new type.

"Hm? What is it?", Jenna asked as she turned to Mike. "Ew! A tongue? Wait, is that what I think it is?"

"I don't think Likitungs can breath below water...." Mike said. Out of the boot, a Shellder poked it's head out and squealed. "Oh. It's a Shellder. Neat."

"Oh! A shellder!", Jenna handed the rod back to pichu and ran over to Mike. Pichu stuggled to hold it up and fell over. "Wow, it's been forever since I've seen a Shellder."

"Strange for a Shellder to be here in a local lake. They usually hang out in the ocean. Why is one here?" Mike inquired.

"Well, this lake is connected to the ocean underground river. I suppose it could have made it's way here through there." The owner said.

"Hm. Well, however it made it's way here, it's not likely to survive for long here, out of it's natural environment." Mike mentioned.

"Hmm...Oh! Does that mean we're going to the beach!?", Jenna asked with a big grin on her face. Her pichu managed to hold the rod, and was now fishing in her place.

"....No. We don't have time for that. The nearest beach is in New Bark, and I'm not heading all the way back there." Mike stood up and placed a hand on a pokeball. "Instead, GO! Haywire!" He tossed the pokeball and out came Haywire. "Haywire! Use spark!" Mike's Haywire electricuted the Shellder which agitated it.

"Heh I predictied that outcome." Allen said watching while watching Gible sat next the the fishing pichu.

"Shellder!!" The shellder jumped at Haywire and clamped down on it's tail.

"Flaf? FLAFFY!!!!" Haywire startted running around, swinging it's tail in an attemtpt to shake the Shellder off, tears welling up in it's eyes.

"Haywire!" Mike scowled as it's once dignified Flaffy ran around wailing in pain. "Calm down stupid. Use spark, and that'll get him to come off." Haywire paused his frantic to spark Shellder, causing it to come off of Haywire's tail. "Now. Use Thunder punch to keep it down." Haywire charged it's punch and landed a finisher on the Shellder, knocking it out. "Nice job Haywire."

"Flaff!" Haywire stood there, grasping his's tail.

"Alright, go! Pokeball!" Mike tossed a pokeball at the Shellder. The pokeball struggled for a bit, before it stopped moving. Mike caught Shellder. "You okay Haywire?" Mike looked to Haywire, which ran over to the pokeball Shellder was in and started hitting the pokeball. "Haywire. Come on now. .....Haywire! ......HAYWIRE, STOP. ......Okay, fine! Return!" Mike held out Haywire's pokeball and the Flaffy returned just after landing another hit. Mike picked up the Shellder. "Imma name him.....Clamps." ((((After Futurama. << >>))))
