The Pokemon Roleplay

"Fine...." Mike sulked, walking behind her with his hands in his pockets.

"Come ooonn! Walk faster you two!", Jenna said as she ran back and pulled on Mike's arm. "Let's not waste time! I wanna get there soon!"

"Gah! Again with the arm grabbing!" Mike sulked along behind her. "You know, it'll probably be a good place to train Eevee. Most of the unknown there are weak. Might be a good place for Clamps and Metalmech."

"Yes yes! And Sabertooth too! All the more reason to hurry up! So quit your sulking and let's go!", she said proudly as pichu squeaked in agreement. She again grabbed his arm and started pulling him again. "How long is it gonna take to get there anyway?"

"I dunno. Half a day? Beats me. And I doubt that Magikarp will get any exp in. It's pretty useless if you ask me. Fill up your pokedex and then put it in a tank." Mike snatched his arm back from Jenna's vicegrip.

"There is no such thing as a useless Pokemon! Just you wait, I'm gonna train this thing into a very powerful Gyrados. Then we'll see who's useless!", Jenna barked as she turned and continued walking, almost stomping.

"Huh. I think I might have gotten her mad. Maybe that means she'll ditch me and I can go back to drinking my life away." He took a swig of his flask. "Here's to hope."

"So loud," Allen said sighing as he picked Gible up since he was lagging behind.

"Hm?", Jenna looked up and noticed some buildings up ahead. "Oh! Is that it? Are we there already?? Yay!" Jenna jumped up and started running.

"Geeze. She needs a sedative..." Mike put his flask away to hide it from scientists who would report him in.

"Ohhh...", Jenna gazed around and at the nearby caves. "Now where would I find a Smeargle...?", She mumbled to herself as she approched one of the caves.

"Excuse me, miss! If you're going in there, you'd best be careful!", said a voice from behind her.

"Hm? Oh, Who are you?", Jenna mumbled turning around.

The man caught up with her and started catching his breath. "Pant...My name's Samuel. I'm just one of many scientists studying these ruins...You'd best be careful going in there. It isn't safe, especially a girl going in alone. They're a few traps, some of which I've fallen in before.", he coutinued as he laughed to himself.

"Traps? What kind of traps?" Mike asked.

"Oh, Just some tiles will collapse beneath your feet and you'll fall to a lower level in the cave. Nothing too life-threatening. But it's a pain when you get lost...Not sure if there's more, those are just the kind I've run into."

"Getting lost? Sounds like fun. A nice little challenge." Mike rubbed his hands together anticipating the challenge.

"Perhaps its just how she is." Allen said looking around, "Well time to take some pictures."

"You a ruins fanatic Al?" Mike asked.

"Nope a promise to a certain professor I would send her pictures when I went through here," Allen laughed, "I am technically her only field researcher."

"Ah. You mean that one girl you have the hots for?"

"Ohh! Come on, let`s go inside then!", Jenna said jumping in anticipation.

"I could show you guys around if you like. I know where some of the traps are.", Samuel offered.

Mufasa wrote:"Hm. Well it could be useful. Since it's an HM, why not let Pichu learn it? It'll never run out. And it could help if Jenna gets lost. Which seems likely to happen." Mike suggested, insulting Jenna almost instinctively.

"Milktank! Rollout!" By now, the disable had worn off, and Milktank was now rolling around again, charging for Alakazam and avoiding the psychic and psybeam.

"Wait for it to come to you alakazam, then use psychic."

"Alright, let's go inside. And I'd prefer not to have a guide, that way it'll be more exciting. But it's not a deal breaker." Mike said.

"Keep charging at him, and increase speed Milktank!" Whitney cheered.

"Alright, suit yourself. Do be careful. And please don't agitate any pokemon you might find inside, the last thing we want is to damage the caves.", Samuel said laughing.

"Ok...then let's go! Uh...Mike, you lead the way!", Jenna said running behind Mike and giving him a small push.

Allen laughed, "Want to save her from a trap eh?" he continued to laugh as he carried Gible.

Mike glared at Allen as he was forced to take a few steps forward by Jenna. "Please." He rolled his eyes. He walked slowly, keeping an eye on his footing. "Hm...the floor seems solid."

"Well? Is it safe? Move a little faster!", She stood right behind Mike and gave him another small shove.
