The Pokemon Roleplay

"Metalmech! Use Roar!" Aron roared in the face of Pichu as it approached him.

"P-pichuu!", Pichu stopped the attack and ran behind Jenna's leg. "Pichu! Come on! Just one more attack!", Jenna tried to encourage it back into the fight.

"Aron!" Metalmech smiled triumphantly.

"It's not over yet Metalmech." Mike said. "Or do you want to count Pichu's movements as a surrender? Frankly I don't want Metalmech accidentally using Metal claw on your leg."

"Come on Pichu! It's almost over! Just one more attack!", Jenna tried to get Pichu back in. Pichu refused to move and continued to hide behind her leg. "Sigh, Ok Pichu, I won't force you...Pichu surrenders.", Jenna said as she held Pichu in her arms,

"Hm. That was a good fight they had there, it was pretty close."
He glanced sideways at Gastly.
"And that was an interesting finish. It seems...fear could be used to force the opponent to surrender."
Gastly, who had been playing with the pen, glanced sideways at Michael and gave a very small, almost imperceptible, nod.

"Alright. Nice going Metalmech!" He held out his pokeball and Metalmech returned. "Ready for the last match? .....Wait, when did you get a third pokemon?"

"You did very well Pichu," Jenna said petting it's head. "Professor Oak gave it to me, Ok, Let's go Ashburn!", Jenna said throwing the ball in the air, out of it came a Ninetales. "Oh Wow! It's so pretty!", Jenna said as Ashburn looked around, assuming Jenna was it's new trainer.

"Woah. Huh. Well, it'll be interesting to see a fire versus fire. Go! Inferno!" He tossed a pokeball and out came a quilava.

"Hm, ok Ashburn! Let's kick it off with Quick Attack!!", Jenna commanded. Ashburn sat down and started scratching itself with it's back leg. "Ashburn! Come on!!"

Inferno and Mike exchanged a look.

"Umm..."

"Ohh...Professor Oak warned about this...Come on Ashburn! Quick Attack! Do something!". Ninetales stood up and started charging at Quilava.

"Inferno, dodge it!" Mike said, as his quilava responded.

"Nine!", Ninetales quickly moved around Quilava and struck it from behind. "Ashburn! I didn't say...sigh, This is gonna take getting used to...", Jenna mumbled as she put her hand on her head.

"Sure." Whitney said. "One on one. Pick your pokemon."

"Okay then, I will choose Alakazam then this time." Antonio throws his pokeball in the air and out comes Alakazam in a calm state of mind.

"...Shall we call off the rest of this match until you're able to control Ninetails properly?" Mike suggested.

"Hm. A psychic type, eh? Alright then, that saves me from having to worry about a type advantage. Go! Milktank!" Whitney tossed a pokeball, and out came a Milktank.

He had fallen asleep in the chair and woke up to the sound of the fighting outside... "WHAT!? WHO'S ATTACKING!? WHAT'S GOING ON!? TO THE WALLS MEN!!!!" He got up all of a sudden yelling this... He realized where he was and said, "Oh it was just a dream..." The egg laying against his chair. He picked it up and walked outside rubbing his eye... He noticed Micheal and sat next to him... "What's going on?" He asked...

"Sigh...ok. Come back Ashburn.", Jenna sighed and returned the Ninetales to it's Pokeball.

"Hm. Well, with the exception of the whole, 'Ninetails doesn't obey you at all' thing, you did pretty good. Luckily Falkner uses flying types, and Pichu has an advantage over him." Mike said.

"Hm? Oh! That's right! Falkner's Flying-types! Yay! I actually have a chance!", Jenna said hugging her Pichu. "Should we get going now?"

"Sure. You're in charge I guess." Mike said, he kept walking towards violet.

"Hm... Maybe if I connected a pokeball directly into the system... No, that would require too many pokeballs to be even theoretically convenient... Hm... I should probably just see if I can get Bill's advice... No, why would he be arounGWAH!"

Richard had run headlong into a sign. He sat up slowly.

"Ugh... Who put that sign... Oh? Ah!"

Richard stood up suddenly. If the sign was any indication, he had arrived at New Bark Town.

Gastly turned upside-down.
"I don't think we have any reason to stick around here. Where do you think we should head next? Dark Cave is close by, but the Gym in Violet might be a good place to get some training... got any ideas?"

Allen called all his pokemon back with the exception of Gible, "Well that wasn't too bad, so how much farther to Violet." He picked up Gible who was starting to chase a leaf in the wind.

"Hm, I dunno...This is all new to me. I hope it doesn't take too long.", Jenna said placing her pichu on top of her head.
