"Hmm, I guess you're right...I guess I should focus on Eevee more. Which reminds me, I never gave him a nickname!", Jenna said as she sat up in her chair.

"Milktank! Use Body slam!" Milktank took the hit from Psybeam, and then thrusted itself toward Alakazam. (80%)

"Ugh....Nickname? Really? That's what your focus is on?"

"Well...no..but I'd like to give it a name...Sorry. I should focus on training it.."

"Hm. Well, let's just relax for now. You won your gym battle, you deserve a relaxing day for that at least." Mike looked at his supplies, and the 5 empty pokeballs at his side. "Hm...."

"Yeah, you're right.", Jenna said as she pulled out the gym badge. "Wow, the Zephyr badge. It's so shiny...", she said gazing at it. She turned to Mike. "Hm? Is something wrong?"

"Nuthin." Mike said, yawning. "Just thinking. Any plans on what you're gonna evolve Eevee into?"

"Hmm...I've been thinking about it. That's why I'm having trouble naming it...I don't want to give it a name suitable for an Eevee if it's gonna be something else...Hmm. Maybe Vaporeon, or Umbreon..I've always been fond of those two.", Jenna said leaning back in her chair.

Alakazam takes the hit (HP90%)." Alakazam use psychic on milktank now!"

Just a heads up,I'll be using both of those on my team. But they're shiny, so I don't think it matters

Allen sighed as he let his Gible run around, "Could you take him he got hurt a bit earlier so I think it would be best for him," he picked the Gible up and handed him to Nurse Joy, "Be careful he has a tendency to bite."

"Oh that won't be a problem what about your other pokemon," she said pointing to the two balls on his belt.

"Their fine I haven't used either of them in a battle for a long time." Allen said as he went over to the waiting area, "So where to have this."

"So Allen, you finish your business with the Sprout Tower monks? What was that all about?" Mike asked.

"Milktank! Use bounce! Let his psychic propell you higher!" Milktank took the hit from psychic. (70%) Then dropped down on Alakazam.

Jenna yawned. "Oh, yeah. I was curious about that too. What'd you do there? If you don't mind me asking..."

Alakazam gets slammed on by milktank (HP 70%)." OK never mind taking it slow, Alakazam Use Psychic to push milktank flat on the ground then use pysbeam."

Allen sighed, "Just visiting my uncle who is the head monk there," he pulled out the HM he received, "Gave me this, I don't really have a need for it cause Garvedoir already knows the move."

"Hm. Well it could be useful. Since it's an HM, why not let Pichu learn it? It'll never run out. And it could help if Jenna gets lost. Which seems likely to happen." Mike suggested, insulting Jenna almost instinctively.

"Milktank! Rollout!" By now, the disable had worn off, and Milktank was now rolling around again, charging for Alakazam and avoiding the psychic and psybeam.

"Well geez..." Jenna mumbled at Mike's comment. "Ok, thanks. What is it, Flash?", Jenna asked as she took the HM from Allen.

"Flash is a move that brightens up locations. Like caves, or dark nights. Also, it could distract an enemy's pokemon while you attack them. Haywire already knows it as well."

"Huh, cool. Thanks Allen! I can't wait to teach it to Pichu!", Jenna said cheerfully as she gazed at the HM.

"Well, he didn't actually say that he was going to let you...." Mike mumbled to himself.

"It's not like I need it," Allen said, "I got it for free and I didn't need it in the end, cause Ivy taught it to my Garvedoir when she was Ralts." he sat down in a chair.

"Ivy? Who's that?"

"Professor Ivy, I met her a while ago while I worked for Oak a short time, I stayed on as an assistant for her for a while," Allen said stretching back some and almost slightly in a daydream.

".....How old is she? ....You two...an item?"

"We maintain contact regularly, I won't give you anymore details," Allen smiled, "I'll leave it to your imagination."

"Better not to do that at all Allen. I have a wild imagination." Mike took out his flask and started drinking. When a passerby looked he said: "It's filled with water. The flask belonged to my dad. An heirloom." He took another sip.
