Combusken waiting for this moment and quickly dodge the attack and then went for 2 more kicks

"Meowth!" Meowth's speed increases further, and it dodged the attack.

"Thank you, Mike" Allen said, "and seems like he likes you," he paused noting how overly excited Gible was behaving, "Whats your name?" he looked at the girl who was looking at Gible.

"Oh, My name's Jenna, Jenna Reeves. I'm from New Bark. Well Saffron originally."

"So why are you headed for Violet city anyway?" Mike asked.

"Nice to meet you I'm from Cerulean City originally" He paused, "Well Gible usually doesn't like a lot of attention from strangers, he usually hides from them, it surprises me actually." he paused, "I'm going to Violet City to see a relative, afterwards I was planning on heading to the next town."

"Hm." Jenna stood back up as her Pichu started walking up to the Gible. "I'd like to go to the next town too, actually. But I really have to get this thing delivered soon...", Jenna said holding the package.

"fine then have it your way. Combusken use your quick attack to catch up to that meowth then use you slash on it."

Combusken dashes at meowth with great speed with his claws ready.

"Then off we go! Come, my Pichu!" She grabbed her pichu and placed it back on her head. "To Violet City! Well Route 31 first...then Violet!", Jenna said as she pointed then in the direction she was going earlier.

"How is she so energetic?" Mike sighed and walked after her.

"Give me a break. I just got out of the joint..."

"Such an energetic couple." Allen said lazily as he stretched and began to follow them, with Gible following close behind him.

"Eh!?" Mike's eyes widened. "We're not a couple!!"
