Mike groaned. "Fine let's go."

"Sorry about that," Allen said as he followed.

"It's alright. It was probably bound to happen anyway." Mike stuck his hands in his pockets.

He hopped out of the tree, landing with his mouth covered in berry mush and a bunch of berries in his arms. "Here let's try combining this epic trail mix with these awesome berries." He wiped his mouth with his arm. "We'll see if it becomes jesus mix." He laughed.

Michael looked over at the house next to the berry tree.
"Well, since the tree isn't marked as private property or fenced in or anything...I guess that's all right."

He walked over to the tree, where Gastly was still inside.
"Hey, Gastly, if you're not going to eat all the berries, could you throw some of them down here?"
In response, part of the tree appeared to die. The leaves turned brown, then crumbled to dust and blew away, as did the branches, revealing Gastly.
"Hey, you didn't have to do that. That's a bit-"
A large quantity of berries fell on him before he could complete his thought.
"Now you really didn't have to do that... urgh..."

After collecting the berries in a bowl, it was time for the fusing of dubious cereals with the equally dubious fruits.
"Alright, what's the best way to do this? Any suggestions, Jose?"

He pulled two cups out of nowhere... He scooped up some berries in one and scooped up some trail mix in the other. He poured one cup into the other. He then poured it into the other cup and kept pouring between cups for a while. He finished and handed one of the cups to Micheal. "Here you go, Senor!" He said in a Spanish tone. He just drank some of it as if it was a liquid and began chewing. "OM NOM NOM NOM!" He gulped down and gave an epic thumbs up "Berry Trail mix for the win." He walked over to the Tree again and grabbed his egg and walked back.

"Well, that's the easiest way, I guess. Thanks."

You got the BERRY MIX! To use it, assign it to one of the C buttons from the inventory screen.

*The part where Michael eats Berry Mix has been censored because it's just too extreme*

"Alright, that's enough of a break, let's keep going...it'd be a good idea to save some of these berries. Not only are they a reliable food source, but I hear Pokemon can use them in battle."

After putting several berries in a sanitized, pressure-locked container, which was stowed in the adventuring bag, Michael and Gastly set off once more through the tall grass.

"Combusken time to do some damage, use quick attack."

"Hmm." Jenna was walking with her Pichu on her head. "Mike, how long is it gonna take us to get to Violet?"

"I thought you were so energetic. What happened to that?" Mike asked. "Shouldn't be too long. It's shorter from Cherrygrove to Newbark than it is from Cherrygrove to Violet."

Jenna continued walking on the trail, viewing the scenery. As she was, a stranger in a robe ran out of the bushes and into Jenna, knocking her to the ground. "Ow! Hey, that hurt...", Jenna dusted herself off and stood up. "I'm sorry, I wasn't...", Jenna turned to see the person running off. "Huh, how rude. Right, Pich--, wait..Where's Pichu!?" Jenna exclaimed as she looked around frantically for her pichu.

"Well, I would imagine that whomever that was, was the one who took him. Another reason to not carry pokemon around on your head." Mike said, putting his hands on his hips, feeling smug. "....eh?" He looked at his belt, where three pokeballs usually are, and only one was left. "SON OF A BITCH! THAT GUY TOOK INFERNO AND METALMECH!" Without waiting for the others, Mike ran in the direction of the guy.

Allen checked his the bag on his back, "Weird my weren't taken but hey I might be able to find him, Gible return." Allen sighed as he pulled out another pokeball, "Lucario come out," He released Lucario, it stood calmly waiting for a command, "Can you find the aura of the guy that just stole Pichu, his aura should still be lingering on her, when you find it lead us to him." Lucario nodded and began to sense for the trail.

Route 30

Michael and Jose forged ahead.
"Hey, look," said Michael. "There's a house over there behind the small tree."
A few kukri slashes later, and they were standing in front of it. A nearby sign indicated that it was the home of "Mr. Pokemon".

"Apparently this guy is a Pokemon expert, or something. What do you think guys, should I see if he's in? I think I might have a couple of questions to ask him."

"Imma beat the snot outta that guy! Where is he!?" Mike exclaimed, in rage mode.

Lucario's eyes shot open and he began to dash foward, "Well I think he just found our man." Allen said as he chased after Lucario.

"Hmph. Such loud people."

A be-tophatted Metang floated out of the trees, well behind the sprinting children.

"Though I'll bet interesting things happen to them. Ah, well."

The Metang looked upwards, expectantly.

"Er, no, we're not following them. We've got to see Elm, remember?"

The Metang nodded, and continued into Cherrygrove.

"Don't know why they couldn't have dropped us off closer... Got to get Rachel to learn Flight... Ah, well, such is the way of things..." *sigh*
