Pokemon Black & White

oh wow. unless im missing something it seems like they really fucked up Wifi mode. If i make it a set level, it bans special pokemon and such. also only using 3 pokemon? lame.

Yeah, it sucks, it doesn't give you many options.

I REALLY hope there's a 2nd Battle Rev.,,

are you in the wireless union room or what? Ive only played people with local IR. Now THAT was a well implemented new feature .>.

Edit: If it hasnt been said already, look for shaking grass and kill the audino for huge experience. Combine that with the lucky egg and you can raise a new caught poke to extreme levels in an hour or two.

Yeah. This is one of the things about pokemon that really sucks. When they find something that works, they end up screwing it up in an attempt to do something better.

The interface for Gold and Silver was fucking awesome and easy. This new system is pretty damn crappy by comparison.

Even the PC. I used to be able to have my party pokemon on one side, and my pc pokemon on the other. Now my party pokemon are right in the way of my pc pokemon. How was this a better decision?

the IR is god like. and ive read up on it, theres no lvl 100's online :/

I don't know what you mean/what game you're referring to in that last part...

I mean heart gold and soul silver. Their interface was much better than this.

Also, I never use the c-gear. My house doesn't work with the nintendo ds wifi, and the blinking light is beyond distracting.

The C-gear is amazing, it has the IR. Lol. And easy access to wifi stuff, but I understand why you don't want to use that. Lol.

I have it off cuz my DS's battery life sucks nowadays. The sides of the screens are cracked in 4 places, and the top screen is falling off.

I used entralink and stole people from my brother's forest and brought them to my city.

He has white, i got black.

Damn black people stealing all our white-folk's people. <_<

Black City has people in it that you can fight once a day. Also has an item shop that sells things that are hard to get. You get more people and items to sell by interacting with other people's worlds using entralink.

White Forest has people, but as far as I know it just lets you catch all kinds of wild pokemon. National dex ones. More interaction unlocks more pokemon to catch.

So it's a matter of fighting for exp and money against catching more pokemon.

You need 2 DSs and a copy of each. Need the Cgear active on both. Use the wireless part and select Entralink. Once the games establish connection you should be able to enter the other person's world and do things there (its limited though, obviously). You cant go into eachother's worlds at the same time though.

yea i wasent to fond of the entra link since it would have been much more effective over wi-fi

Thats fine with me, because I know at least 7 ppl with the game. Today in school there were at least 13 people all playing pokemon. Did a bunch of 4 player 2v2 battles with friends, it was awesome

Thing is, when you take people from other's worlds... it's for keeps lol

You're stealing resources from their game. New people come and go like in animal crossing, and you can only have 10 people at a time. But you're still hurting them a bit. So dont let them know it : o

the longer you take to beat the game, the less people there are. Unfortunately i left my game on whenever i'd sleep, so when i got to black city i only had 4 or 5 people. luckily it was still pretty developed, because the less people and the longer you take, the less developed your place will be.

mmm i dun think so. i only had 4 people and it took me 5 days to finish.

it took my brother 9 days and he had 8 people.

Well, thats what they said. Your brother may have had his DS on for shorter times as you or something. I know its true because I compared with ppl who flew through it (one girl beat it in 2 days and had ten people) and people who took longer than me and only had 3 people

What kind of shit game design is that? Why would they punish the player for taking their time exploring the game? Wouldn't they prefer it if people played their game for longer periods of time instead of racing through?

Dont worry, you probably wont use Black City/White Forest like its intended anyways. (If you dont quit the game before said area)

And if people weren't so damn negative, you'd get that its promoting INTERACTING WITH OTHER PLAYERS. Its supporting the Xtralink where you go into other player's worlds and do fun (and kinda cool) little missions, and during so you can get people to go to your exclusive area.
