Kitao is a laid back guy that doesn't like to fight much. His Mother died when he was born and his father was killed when he hit 5 years of age. He's been moving around a lot because of his relatives passing him around. He finally landed in Inaba with an aunt and uncle. He never had many friends since he wouldn't stay in one place for long. It never really bothered him that he lost his parents at such a young age, or that's what he likes to think. He's gotten used to being alone but at the same time, he doesn't like it at all. He likes to paint, or 'tag', graffiti everywhere. He sometimes gets in trouble through that but usually doesn't get caught.
Appearance: Kitao always has a beanie or hat on. Under his hat he has short black hair. He wears a light hoodie on at most times and carries a book bag for his spray cans. He has a big frame but his body is slender. He's somewhat tall and has Bright blue eyes. He's tanner than most people since he's out in the sun a lot.

Alright. I'm gonna make a female tower party member. I hope that's cool with everybody.

Slight character background: Spunky and energetic, Dani is a high quality member of the female volleyball team. Known for her deadly spikes, she's popular among her peers. She's somewhat lazy in school, but she manages to survive.

Alright, it seems we need a little........"push" some may say, for this RP. Im gonna add some new rules:

-We are using the dice system from now on! If you do not know what that is, I suggest you look up the character sheet thread in the announcements board. If you STILL somehow cant find it for some reason, this is a basic description:

No more "I say so, so it happens." inside the TV (mainly battles, but some events may require actions too)! If you are doing an action or attacking with any negative force around, you MUST ROLL THE DIE. Its right above the text box near "Others" Heres the outcomes:

1&2-Miss/Action Fails.
-1's:The action fails so horribly, that you hurt yourself or an ally. If you miss with a one, you fall over and cannot attack in your next post. When being attacked:You take extra damage and get knocked over.
3&4-Succeed. Normal Dmg/Normal Actions. Normal actions being something simple like "Guard". You cannot completely dodge an attack and take no dmg with 3's and 4's, but you can use your action to reduce it instead of attacking. Its up to you.
-4's:If its a desperate situation, you CAN however save a friend in danger (in danger i mean in danger of dying, not just taking dmg) but you will be hurt in his or her place
5&6-Extra(crit)Dmg and Advanced actions succeed. Advanced being, team attacks, completely dodging an attack.
-6's:You recover 1 hp. When being attacked:You dodge on both 5 and 6

-Enemies attacking:

-Enemies DO NOT have to roll the dice! If you are controlling a boss shadow or some other sort of enemy, you just post what you are doing. The rolls of the other characters depend on what happens (dodge,get hit so hard you're knocked down)

-Activity:

If the RP itself is slow and not demanding of activity, then its all good. BUT! If it is at a part where events are happening that are going to progress the story, then ACTIVITY IS A MUST. If you do not post at least 2 times in a day when multiple members are on,willing and ready to post and an event involving most of the members is going on then the events will continue without your character(s) and you will have to catch up to everybody later. If you post less than 5 times in an entire week, your character will be suspended untill:

-If the party is already in the TV:After they rescue or fail to rescue the victim
-If the party is in the real world, but stuff is happening:When the events end.
-If the party is just dicking around waiting for a victim to appear on the midnight channel:When the victim shows up on TV


IF you have a good, i mean GOOD reason for not posting for a while, then that is acceptable. What is NOT acceptable is:
"I didnt feel like it" or "I felt tired"
You were on the forum and or chatbox, and did not post during the time frame you were on. Cmon guys typing a sentence or two is not that hard! Even if its just to keep things going! But at the same time dont half ass it, unless your character is deliberately supposed to be so boring that the other members wanna cry reading your posts.
This is meant to be fun! If you dont like posting, or dont like keeping up with a decently paced RP, then WITHDRAW from it! We are not trying to stress you out!

I concur with this.

I tried something similar with the Pokemon RP. Why don't we try to use rewards to people who do post a lot too? Like if they miss, if they're really active, they get a chance to roll the dice again?

Well, that COULD be done, but the thing is is that if majority of us (and we are) are active, then we all have about an equal ammount of posts since its our characters interacting. as ive been doing, i'd suggest that if your character is speaking to another character you made, to keep it in one post.

I think we can be fine just punishing inactivity, rather than trying to sucker people into activity with little extra quirks. They should be doing this of their own will and because they want to.

Like I said before, it sounds interesting so I'm cool with it. And if some feel that this facilitates a reboot I have no objection.

You can join if you want, we just finished the 4th dungeon though. We're about to take a group trip for some time away from fighting and stuff

you can always join. Lyle (The World) joined when we already started. You can just be one of the later joining characters like Naoto

do you think the others would mind but for me I didnt really use Naoto for one sure she was a balanced character but the whole them waiting till part way through the game thing was annoying.
