"Shit," Shinta pulled out his phone and dialed for the ambulance.

"Is she all right? The wound's not too bad, is it?" Kishin asked.

"Holy hell!" Masuyo said as he ran into the diner. "What happened!?"

"Some girl here got shot by a weirdo with a gun! He just ran away," explained Kishin.

Karin turned and nodded, "It all happened so fast. The guy just goes nuts and opens fire on 'er. I barely had time to take in in."

"Er even I still know her name Kishin" Masuyo said as he looked over at Reika. "Geez you must have bad memory or something."

"Oh.

...I knew that."

Shinta took a deep breath, "I called the ambulance. They should be here soon."

"Do you guys know who did this? Shit, we cant have this happening!" Masuyo said as he remembered that on top of having an injured member, they also still had a victim in the TV to save.

"I didn't get a good glimpse of him...I think he had on these really obnoxious sunglasses, though."

"Hey! Thats that jackass who yelled "Move it kid!" and shoved me on my way here and said he didnt have time for this shit!" Masuyo said getting pissed. "That stupid bastard!"

"Let's see," Shinta crossed his arms while he thought, "The owner said his name was 'Jerry' so he's probably a foreigner, he mentioned something about a boss so he must be working on behalf of someone...wait what? You saw him?"

"Oh wow. That means you almost got shot, Masuyo."

"Yeah I saw the asshole!" Masuyo said. "I almost tried stopping him, good thing I thought to check on you guys first or i could be dead on the ground out there eh?" Masuyo said as he grinned. "He was trying to get away as fast as possible, he looked and acted like a real douchebag. He seemed like he was from America." Masuyo said as he looked at his phone as it rang.

Shinta looked up at Masuyo and Kishin with an open eye, "Now here's the tricky part: The police'll wanna question us about this since we were the only ones here besides the manager, and I doubt it'll only be once. But there's still the matter of savin' the bum we gotta get to. What do you guys think?"

"Well we cant go tonight anyways, so we get stalker to the hospital, Rai can stay and watch her or something since they're lovey dovey, let the police question us tonight, get the bum tomorrow. It cant be THAT long of a questioning, it was just an angry guy who fired a gun." Masuyo said to Shinta

"Yeah...besides, running from the police might not be such a good idea for people who don't want to look suspicious."

"Got that right," Karin walked towards Masuyo and the others, "but in my experience talking to the cops can get pretty hectic too. You'd better make sure you're all on the same page. One discrepancy and you'll look just as suspicious."

Kishin started to look nervous. "It's...it's not really going to be that big of a deal, is it?"

"*sigh* The last thing I want right now is another pain in the ass." Masuyo said groaning. "But what can ya do?" he said looking at Karin

Shinta hesitantly asked, "...You've dealt with this before?"
"Well...kinda. Long story." Karin looked away before turning back, "Anyway, all we need to do is make sure everything matches up, mainly the description of the jerkass with the gun. I'm not sure of the exact details on what his business is here, but I'd say it's a safe bet the owner won't say anything about it. He seems to be the type who thinks he's 'in too deep' or something like that." Karin paced from side to side as she talked.
"Now that you mention it," Shinta spoke up, "he did call the guy by his name and acted as if he already knew him. Or rather feared him."
Karin nodded, "Exactly. That's why we all need to bring up the boss bit before he shot. Even if that gets written off as 'those kids and their wild imaginations' as long as we have our description of the guy they should be able to find him. And when they do," Karin turned to Masu and smirked, "You'll be our trump card."

"Huh? Why me?" he asked confused

Karin explained, "From the sound of it you got the best look at him. So if need be you can id the bastard."

"Oh. okay." Masuyo said no longer confused. "Hey the cops and ambulance are finally here!" masuyo shouted hearing the sirens

"Good to hear," Shinta walked over to Rai and Reika, "Fujioka, you okay? Must've passed out from shock. I probably don't need to ask but can you go with her Natsuyama?" Rai nodded.
