"Hm..Very well..."

Yahiko Narutaki hummed to himself as he made his way back to the barracks. It was not far from the 1st Squad barracks so often he would take his time and reflect on the topics of the meeting that took place, "Takeshi-dono as a captain? That's a pretty weird image-degozaru. Still if it's an order from Yamamoto-dono then it can't be helped-degozaruna? Still, if we're training the vice-captains to fill in the captain positions, who's going to fill in the vice-captains' positions when they leave? I guess we could train the third seats up, but then we'd have to train the fourth seats too. And the fifth seats and the sixth seats and the seventh seats and the..." In his ramblings Yahiko absentmindedly entered the barracks. Two officers talking in the hallway noticed his musing. One sighed, "There he goes again."
"Welcome back Captain," the other bowed.
"And the eighteenth seats and the nineteenth seats and the twentieth seats and...that's all the seats. There's no one to take over for the twentieth seats! I have to warn Yamamoto-dono! He's making a huge mistake!" Yahiko immediately vanished leaving the two officers in utter confusion.

Mashashi sighed as he finished another report and filed it to be put into the database. He stood and walked to the door entering the captain's room, he walked in and began looking around, "As usual Captain Araki isn't here." walking out and closing the door, "I swear she wonders off too much, and leaves all the work to me," he sighed, "Thus is the fate of a vice captain." He laughed as he returned to his seat and began again on the paperwork that still remained.

".........yeah fuck this shit." Shigure said as he looked at the monstrous mound of papers on his desk. "I dont even have the heart to subject a lackey into doing this. Why the fuckin shit do we have SO MUCH MOTHER FUCKING PAPERWORK ANYWAYS?!!? GEARRRRRRGH!" Shigure began yelling as he hurled a kido blast at the wall and made a hole in it.

".........shit."

Ruriko looked up as the wind was disturbed by a small explosion, she giggled, "Shigure-san lost his temper it seems." she continued on her walk back to the Squad 9 barracks enjoying the short silence following the sound.

"....." Shinichi looked up from his book he was reading. "....I'll deal with it later."

Takehiko saw his Captain sprint out of the barracks muttering something about the 20th seat but he paid it little attention. He has just returned from training for the day and was exhausted as is and needed rest. "I heard they're going to promote a bunch of vice captains or somethin" he heard the barracks guards talking.
"You should keep you're mouth shut about rumours, I'm sure it's nothing." he said as he walked towards his living quarters. He had intended to drink that night and go to sleep but as he was out of Sake he decided on skipping the first step and going to sleep.

"Well.....fuck. I wonder what imma do about this......." Shigure said to himself.

"Hm....Let's see the competition here...." Shinichi looked up the files on the other vice captains Yamamoto mentioned.

"....A screw it. I'm gonna check that blast out." Shinichi put down his papers, and flash stepped out of the captain's room.

"Fuckin A" Shigure said to himself. "Ah well. May as well just get chewed out over it." he said as he felt his captian aproaching

Mashashi looked up at the sound of a small explosion, "Doesn't sound like its near here," he looked back to the last of his papers as he put them into the large database Squad 9 had. He looked up, "The captain is coming," as he felt her presense drawing near."

"So...Care to explain what happened here?" Shinichi said, as he walked into the room through the whole in the wall.

"I spazzed out?" Shigure replied to his captain

"You're not gonna gain to many points with Genryusai by destroying the buildings..." Shinichi sighed. "As punishment, I want you to actually fill out the forms yourself this time." He scowled. "Don't think I didn't know about you delegating your responsibilities. And I guess you should put some hardware on the requisitions sheet so we can fix the whole in the wall...."

"*sigh* Fine fine whatever." Shigure said. "Is that it?"

"....I want you to tell me what's bugging you. You've been moody all day. That, and it must have been something really bothersome to make you blow a new window in the wall."

Ruriko opened the door into Squad 9's headquarters, the few members that were not on missions turned and bowed immediately as she walked by. She bowed slightly to all of them, "I hope everyone's doing a good job." contining on her way towards the database room. Opening the door she looked towards her favorite vice captain who was putting the last of his and probably her reports into the database, he hadn't noticed her. Walking up behind him she said, "Good Afternoon Shirokawa-san."

"Look. Im just not feeling well. If you'd get off my back that would help my mood greatly." Shigure sharply replied to his captain. "I just want time to myself for a bit."

"...Fine. I'll say one last thing before I leave. First and foremost, you are a member of the Gotei 13. And there will be times when you have to do something that you probably won't want to. And I'm not talking about paperwork. Right now the Gotei 13 needs you to become a captain. When I became captain of this division, I gave you a break and made you my vice to begin with. I received a lot of flack for that, and we lost some good people. Now's your time to step it up and give back. Moping around isn't gonna help anyone. I don't know what personal problems your having, and I don't need to know. But you're a soldier. And we can't afford to have you in this kind of state. Understood? ....Take the day off. I'll finish the paperwork. But I want you 110% tomorrow."

"Ah so that's how it is," Yahiko laughed in embarassment as he returned to his barracks, "Yamamoto-dono needs to explain things more clearly. We could've had a crisis-degozaru." He returned to the barracks and was welcomed back by the others.

"Tch. This is actually making me ponder if bettering my Kido is worth all of this unneeded shit." Shigure said outloud as he walked out of the room (through the regular door)

"...." Shinichi stared at Shigure as he walked out. "I wonder if he would even make a good capitan. Heh. The whole reason behind this is to build unity between the squads. All it's doing for us is getting us ticked at each other." Shinichi sighed. "I guess I better get to this stuff then...." Shinichi looked over the paperwork. "....I wonder if I could get that 15th seat guy to do this..."

"Good Afternoon, Captain Araki," Mashashi said putting the last form into the database and turning. "Did you enjoy your walk?"

"Hello Shirokawa," Ruriko said giggling at his official behavior, "My walk was amazing thank you for asking, now how goes the paperwork?" she sat at the table in the middle of the room.
