Fallout New Vegas

So Dead money was pretty fun. It kinda started repeating itself after a while, so it got kinda stale. But all in all it was almost like it's own story and worked over a bit more it could have been it's own game really.

It would have been short as fuck, but still.

I don't like how they take away your equipment, AGAIN. That's not the answer to everything Bethesda. And they never gave me enough ammo for my guns. And since the character I was using was focused on guns and energy weapons, I was kinda screwed for ammo.

Also, the emphasis on stealth would screw over people who don't have stealth focus.

Otherwise good DLC though. It got off to a good start for me with the Police Pistol. It's like the one Adachi uses.

Sounds kinda awesome, especially since I have a stealth character, I'll have to get it when I have the money.

Also, the game once again proves how broken Unarmed is. When I did Dead money with my gun guy, I had a terrible time trying to find ammo.

With my unarmed guy, I'm killing Ghost people like they're made of paper. The Bear Claw Gauntlet is all sorts of broken. Cripples limbs, bonus critical.

3 Uppercuts kills any ghost people. I would have to use 2 full clips of the Police pistol to kill one of the weaker kind.

Lol I just now got all the dlc for New Vegas, they aren't too bad but the HEY LETS TAKE YOUR WEAPONS AWAY, does kinda get old.

Well, Honest Hearts at least lets you keep some of the stuff. In fact, I was able to keep most of the stuff I actually use.

Old World Blues, which comes out July 19th now, (As opposed to the June 2011 release date it had until yesterday) sounds like it lets you keep whatever you want.

Dead Money is probably the better of the two that came out. Honest Hearts is okay, but if you take out Joshua Graham, there's little interesting about it. A few new weapons, and some scenery that looks nice for 5 minutes. That's about it.

Obsidian has handled New Vegas pretty poorly IMO. With the DLC and how buggy the game has been. Fallout 3 was handled quite professionally by comparison.

Eh its Obsidian this is probably one of their better games IMO, my first introduction to them was terrible.

Yeah. After this, I wouldn't look into other Obsidian games.
Bethesda's not the best either. But while fallout 3 was buggy too, it was still completely functional. New Vegas has it's...moments. And they're very large hiccups.

I honestly after playing Fallout 1 and 2 I like New Vegas better cause it uses the systems from 1 and 2 that were good, such as if you have power armor most bullets don't hurt you.

Some of the interface stuff is a lot better than Fallout 3, like Repair and weapon mods, and ammo making. But it's just so damn buggy.

I look forward to Fallout 4

This game is the shit, gonna save a little money then marathon the DLC.

Here's hoping it'll work, cause fallout 3 sure as fuck didn't. Apparently the graphical requirements arent as demanding and I've been told by a couple people I could run it just fine on lower settings but I can't be sure until after I've installed it.
