Emi stood and made her way out of the room, "Yeah I am ready for action sir!" she did a mock salute, "So what is the job we are doing."

"Then let us hurry," Noah reverted to his bright attitude, "the sooner we reach Zaphias, the sooner we will be able to leave."

"Wait. What exactly are we going to be DOING in Zaphias?"

"Asking around. I'd like to no more about Sir Marcus' research," Noah replied, "and I feel like going back to him would not be wise."

"...Alright. Let's get going then...." Lucy thought for a minute. "...But, I'll be expecting something in return by the end of this. I've never done a job for free, and I won't make any exceptions. But we can work that out later. I'm curious about this guy too. If the empire gets too powerful, it'll put me out of a job."

Noah blinked in confusion before coming to a realization, "Oh, right. I had forgotten you do these sort of things for payment. I cannot make any guarantees but I am sure things will work themselves out somehow. So, are you some sort of guide? Or are you a bodyguard perhaps?"

"Well, around these parts I'm a bodyguard. But I know the Mantiac area well, so I'm a guide and a guard there. Though, I'm familiar with this area by now. I've been doing a lot of work here lately. The empire has been pretty busy. Busier than usual."

"Some monsters near Torim Harbor," Cein said looking at her puzzled, "Anyway just call me Cein." he turned and headed for the door.

"You done?" Axel asked Onyx as he turned around.

"Yeah just about." he replied tying his sister to a tree in the nearby forest. "So what now?"

"Well............I was gonna go to Aspio, but according to this map, we can go to Zaphias if we go through either the forest or Deidon hold." Axel said looking at a map.

"Alright, well where are we going first?" Onyx asked.

"You're staying with me?" Axel asked Onyx confused.

"Well I got nowhere else to go" he replied with a grin. "May as well stick together for a bit eh?"

"Yeah." Axel said smiling. "Lets try the hold first. I'd rather not have to go through this creepy place."

"Alright" Onyx said as he walked off with Axel.

"Monsters?" Emi thought for a moment, "Alright, Boss!" she followed after Cein tightening her gloves.

"Alright, I am assuming you've been to Torim Harbor," Cein said as they started walking towards the bridge that led out of Dahngrest, glancing over his shoulder, "So how did you end up in Dahngrest, Ms. Kaltzburg." he noted her bohdi blastia around her neck, designed to look like a necklace.

"Please call me Emi," She smiled, "I think its better that way anyways." she paused for a moment, "I did come here from Torim Harbor but I got lost between there and here, I never found Heliord." she sighed remembering the trip.

"So you got lost but ended up here," he glanced back, "How lucky eh?" he laughed a bit, well we're gonna be heading through some thick forest before we stop at Heliord so be ready for some monsters."

"You make it sound like I ended up in Dahngrest on accident." Emi sighed, "But if there are monsters nearby I am ready for it!" she rubbed her knuckles.

Cein started looking around as they entered the forest, "Never know," he thought, "This is going to be quite a hassle." he put his hand on his sword to be ready in case something attacked, "Alright keep your wits about you."

Emi watched as the trees around them moved every so often, "This is kinda creepy," she thought, "The monsters are watching us but not attacking, maybe we scare them, or maybe they are gonna surprise us." she continued following close behind Cein.

"Wait," Cein pulled his sword out with his dagger, "They are all around us, get ready they are gonna pounce any minute." He began listening for move to pounce.

Emi paused and looked around, she knew they were there but where they were coming was another question, she backed up against Cein's back, "We can take em can't we boss."

Three wolves jumped out of the bushes and rushed at Cein.

"Front," Cein said as he charged at the wolves.

Emi turned and dashed at the wolves, kicking one in the head knocking it off balance, "Boss watch yourself."

Cein shoved the first wolf back and caught the bite from the second one with his dagger, "You take that one I have these two."

The first wolf recovered and the second one back off as they began to circle him for another pounce.

Noah wiped his forehead as he continued to trek through the forest, "Once we get through this forest we will be at the Deidon Hold. From there it should be a straight shot to Zaphias." He stopped once he heard a faint grumbling sound from below. "But first, perhaps it would be best if we ate something?" He said scratching the back of his head and smiling sheepishly.

Emi rushed and delievered three punches to her wolf while it was still stunned from the kick, "Demon Fist," as she finished her combo.

The wolf was knocked back but it stood and readied to pounce.

"Tch. Men are such wimps." Her stomach growled loudly. ".....If you insist." She sat down on a log. "So, what are we gonna eat?"

"Not much," Noah replied as he opened his bag, "just some bread, meat and cheese for sandwiches. What would you like, Miss Lucy?"
