Cassandra shouted over the crowd, "What are you crazy? You wanna run towards the explosion?"

*sigh* "He's insane." Chris said grabbing Mary. "Run! The building is crumbling!!!!" Chris shouted at the crowd.

"If I'm gonna die, I may as well do it on my terms." Vlad ran up the stairs another flight, listening for the source of the explosion. "...Next floor!"

"I don't get it," Cassandra yelled as she ran, "you guys saved the people in there right? So why is he going back?"

"Hes gonna try to stop an explosion. In a crumbling building." Chris said making sure Cassandra got how stupid of an idea that sounded.

"A foolish idea that will get us both killed...." Said Python to Vlad.

"If this explosion goes off, it'll kill everyone around here. And then I get killed by that Loki freak. I'm not letting that happen." Vlad walked down the hall, feeling the heat of the flames. "...Mabufu!" Vlad sent off a sheet of ice that tempered some of the flames, steam filled the room.

"wHO daREs to cAlm my fLaMES?" A voice boomed in the background.

"So there was a demon behind this after all..." Vlad readied himself for battle.

Chris and the rest of the group safely got away from the crowd and building.

"........Damn it." Chris muttered. "I can't just leave him. God am i stupid. Well the building hasn't blown up. That means-"

"Its a mawnster!" Mary shouted

"Yeah......guys we gotta make sure Vlad isnt fighting something too tough for him to handle!" Chris said as he darted back to the building

"Who's there?! Show yourself!" Vlad howled, through the steam. A bright light illuminated the steam, as it blew away from the source.

"I aM SAtuRnus...A deMOn of FLaMe. FigHT ME oR FlEE. tHe rESult WIlL bE thE SaME."

"Tch! You're not gonna take me so easy!" With that Vlad directed Python to attack Saturnus, Vlad backed up the attack with another bufu skill. "This is the situation we've been training for!"

"Christ why is it so much hotter in here!?" Chris yelled to himself as he ran up the stairs in the building.

"Ty let me go!" shouts Mia, Ty has pulled his sister a safe distance away from the building but she is struggling to go back, "Vlad may be a big jerk, but we can't just let him go in alone! Oh my god Chris just ran back in! We have to go too!"

Ty continues to hold his sister back silently. She bites his hand but all he does is flinch and continue to hold on. Mia stops yelling and struggling let's herself fall limp in her brother's arms.

"Sob. Why? Why can't we help them? Why is everything so crazy? Sob."

Ty loosens his grip and looks at his sister sadly as she holds her hands over her face, suddenly she jumps up and runs towards the building her crying just an act. Her deathclock drops to zero as she goes through the building's double doors. Ty runs after her.

"Chris!" shouts Mia running up the stairs behind him.

Cassandra scratched her head frantically and screamed, "AAGH! Why is everyone here so stupid? Whatever, I'm outta here." Cassandra began to walk away but her shirt was caught on something. She turned and saw Mary clutching at her shirt tail. Cassandra angrily freed her shirt and glared at the small girl, "They made their choice, why can't I? They're the ones that wanna play hero here, not me."

"Jesus christ its so friggin hot!!!!!!' Chris shouted as the heat became more unbearable each floor he ascended. This is ass. My clock is zero. Im sticking my neck out for some asshole who is willing to sacrifice little girls for himself. Fuck. Just fuck.


"Dont weave us......" Mary said pouting clinging to Cassandra's leg

Cassandra's gazed softened, "Mary...aren't you scared?"

"Yes...dats why I dont want you to weave me......" Mary said with her eyes watering.

"Rrgh..." Vlad bore a few scratches and burns on his clothes. Saturnus seemingly unharmed. "What the hell is this thing?"

"Saturnus is known to be one of the most powerful of the fire weilding demons. As I said, you've likely killed us." Python taking a brunt of the beating fell back behind Vlad.

"Tch...Did that bastard plan this?" Vlad scowled, seeing his deathclock still at zero. "Dammit! I've been fucking had!"

"THiS FooLIshNeSS hAS GonE ON Too loNG. nOw we FINiSh thIS." Saturnus raised his hand, the floor igniting on fire, leading up to Vlad, Vlad used another bufu skill, keeping the fire at bay. ""YOUr deATH iS iNEviTaBLe.."

Cassandra sighed and knelt down before placing a hand on Mary's head, "Don't worry...I won't." She pulled Mary in for a hug, and both could feel the terrified pounding in the other's chest.

"Not so fast!" Chris shouted as he cast Zan, blowing away the raging inferno going towards Vlad.

"You?!" Vlad said. "What the hell are you doing?! What's the deathclock on those other people?"

"Fool. The only thing accomplished by doing this is giving Saturnus more bodies. We have been tricked by Loki." Python said.

"aH. sO LOki Is BEhinD thIS? ANoTHEr VicTIM of HIs trICkEry." Saturnus raised his hand again. "My FLAMes ArE ENdleSS."

"Those other people are long gone." Chris said waving his hand. "Cause you delayed this guy from blowing the building sky high while they were in it. Thats all that you had to do right? Save the people? That guy didnt say anything about beating a boss demon, so if this guy is seriously that strong then lets get the hell outta here!"

"YOu haVE BeeN TRiCKed bY LoKi. FleE nOw aND YouR lIFe shALl bE SpARed."

"Tch...." Vlad scowled.

"WheN wE nEXT mEeT. I wiLl Not bE sO MERciFul."

"...Let's go." Vlad gritted his teeth.

A wise choice." Python said, licking his wounds.

"Chris! Vlad!" shouts Mia. "Cough Cough Cough!" She holds out her hand blinded by the smoke trying to find the others. Suddenly a stream of water and ice clears a path and makes Mia all wet. It is Aquans and a very angry looking Ty. He runs up and slings the sputtering Mia over his shoulder and gets Aquans to extinguish more flames continuing to clear a path. He spots the retreating Vlad and the others.

"THIS WAY!" he shouts and begins moving towards the exit putting flames out as he goes.

"So you, and indirectly we were set up by that Loki guy. That ticks me off." Chris said to Vlad as they escaped the burning building. "Like, whats so special about you that he has to torment you individually?"

"I don't know. Who even knows if I'm the only one?" Vlad snapped. "He could have been pulling that shit all day for all we know."

"What a fucker." Chris growled. "I'd love to rip him a new one but hes obviously outta our league if that guy back there was too much to handle. There's gotta be a way to get stronger, and FAST."

Vlad stared back at the building, once they were a safe distance away, it erupted into an explosion and flames. He was taken aback by the force of the blast. "Tch....I doubt that's the last we will see of that guy too..." He looked above to his deathclock. "Huh...3 now. Guess I was supposed to die there....That bastard probably never had any intentions to kill me at all..." Vlad gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.
