Naruto Manga: Probable Spoilers if you're not up to date

My little brother isn't caught up so he still thinks Naruto's cool, but even he found it ridiculous when I told him about this. He put it very well: "Hmm, a demon monster just burst out of my wife? I know! I'll put it in my son!" What was Minato thinking?

I bet he was drunk. Or maybe he was bored and wanted to see what might happen.

I'm shocked to be saying this, but I'm actually looking forward to Naruto's plotline more than Bleach right now.

I mean, Bleach has never been stellar, but Naruto's always been worse (In recent days) but now they've kinda flip flopped over the past three weeks. I'm genuinely INTERESTED in Naruto's plot, despite baby-kidnapping, and Bleach I'm only interested because of it's curiousity cock-teases.

"WHO IS THIS PERSON THAT'S APPEARING IN DECIDE PART 13??? HERE'S A FOOT!! KEEP GUESSING AND WONDERING FOR ANOTHER WEEK!!!!!"

I will say, there was a bit of sloppy writing there though. I mean if Naruto didn't know that she was the chinchuruki, (Or whatever) then how would he know about how the fox got released? Hence why the line: "I guess Minato didn't tell you..." wouldn't make sense. But it's a small complaint, and compared to other parts of Naruto's plot line, I'll take that poorly written line if we can keep the good written plotline.

Naruto might actually save itself, if it keeps this up. And then we can all look back on the Sausgay is an emo pussy arc as 'that really bad part of Naruto.'

I think the problem was the two were getting farther and farther from the original plotline but if Naruto comes full circle, Im not saying itll save it, but it will be nice to see. Yeah Minatoss actions start to make a little more sense now that they reveal Uzumaki blood is best for taming the fox. So his parents seem less stupid now that its all Tobi's fault.

From a purely strategic view point what Tobi did while totally Jerkfaced was his only option. Seeing as he lost most of his offensive power his only way to beat a full fledged fox host was to jump her while the seal was weak. The fact that she jus gave birth, while cruel, doesnt matter if he has to kill her to get the fox out anyway.

on an unrelated note I refuse to call Tobi, Madara, cause that would mean admitting Obitobi is false and everyoe knows that Kekkashi Gaiden is the only thing that matters in Naruto at this point.

Hmm... this wasn't an extremely interesting chapter, but it was well done. I actually felt bad for Minato when I saw the tears in his eyes, of joy.

Perhaps it's cause I have rage built in me from Bleach, but I'm really getting emotionally involved in Naruto right now. I feel incredible empathy for Minato. Today was supposed to be the birth of his child, one of the happiest moments of his life. His newborn child in an instant is under threat of murder, he has to choose between his son and his wife, his wife then has a horrible beast torn out of her body, sent to attack the village he's been sworn to protect, and as a result, his wife is about to die by his newborn, as he runs off to go fight a demon known to be the most powerful of all the demons.

It would be better if we didn't know how it ended, but it's kinda like the prequels to the star wars series. IF things just went one iota differently, then everything would be alright. But of course, the worst case senario happens.

This is WAY better emotional buildup in Naruto than Sauske's "BAWW I'MMA KILL THE VILLAGE THAT MY BROTHER DIED TO PROTECT CAUSE THEY MADE HIM KILL MY FAMILY WHO WERE TRYING TO BETRAY MY VILLAGE!!!"
It's so confusing and completely contradicting that we can't get into the emotions. Plus it's fucking stupid to begin with.

The current emotions are very simple:

Son is under threat of murder
Wife kidnapped
Wife about to die

Even if you've never had a wife or a son, you can pretty much understand that Minato is going through very heavy emotions. And is really working to keep his composure and think clearly about what to do next.

Also, this is the first time where it would be a logical place for Kushina(A sensei) to say: "I'm going to teach you one technique that will help you in the years to come."
And she then teaches him how to do Minato's flash step thing. It would make sense that he has the ability, it's sorta a trademark of his father, and with the increase chakra of the Uzumaki clan, he can really use it to a greater potential.
Oh yeah, and there's the nine tails thing too.

Yeah, Minato's really a fighter to be able to still do this. I'd fuckin break down or something probably. Then again, minato's the shit. Both of them.

It' nice to have a fight with some interest in it though. Where I'm not hoping that both parties will die. Or isn't completely unsatisfying.

My faith in Naruto is slowly growing.

I'm getting surprisingly emotionally involved in Naruto.

Hopefully they'll stay on this path and not go back to retardland.

In order to do this, they have to make the character of Naruto mature from this event, and not focus on Sauske at all till the next time they fight. That way, we're actually rooting for the good guy, and hoping that Sauske dies.

Still. I'm worried about the whole: "WE'LL DIE TOGETHER!!!" thing...

Basically, we can sum up the series right now as: Sauske sucks. Emotions are good to have in a story.

Kishimoto seems to finally be realizing this. I can even forgive him for that brief blatant ripoff of Persona.
