"Noah!? Do you by any chance live in Halure?" Axel asked shocked to meet Noah so soon after leaving his place.

Noah was surprised, "Oh? Have we met before? I am usually good with remembering people."

"No. But I met your parents and stayed.......part of the night at your home. Your parents are very nice people............." Axel began to say. "But thanks to me........its my fault........."

In the heavy tension Noah began to shake,"W-what is...your fault?"

"I was being followed." Axel started looking down. "Then your parents took me in and I was overwhelmed that such nice people could exist. So I made myself at home as they requested, but then my followers showed up in the middle of the night. Your parents are fine, but the front door was damaged. I feel really bad for causing so much trouble........" Axel said.

Noah breathed a sigh of relief, "I see. Thank goodness. I was worried for a moment, but it is good to know that my parents are safe. Wait what about the back? Was the back of the house damaged in any way?"

"Er, the back? I dont think so. I fought them off. Well the attacker's younger brother helped me." Axel said pointing at Onyx

"I see. That is splendid news. Now then," Noah turned to Onyx and back to Axel, "If you do not mind would you care to explain who you are and why you were attacked?"

"Er.......im actually from Nordopolica. I came here to go to Aspio because I was hoping to improve my magic skills." Axel said nervously. "I got attacked at Emhead hill by some crazy.....er, his older sister and he helped me get away. She's been forcing him to do terrible things to people for a while, and he helped me when she followed me to your house. We knocked her out and tied her to a tree somewhere in this forest. We figured we'd head to Zaphias just to throw her off our trail for now."

"So that is how it is? And you," Noah focused his attention on Onyx, "what exactly is your sister after?"

"Beats me." Onyx said shrugging. "We've been homeless for quite sometime. At first we just looked for a job or a family to take us in, but after a while my sister changed saying we need to only look out for ourselves and do anything to survive. Then she started attacking and robbing people."

"AND she's abusing him!" Axel added.

"Yeah...........so I decided to leave her and stay with Axel for the time being."

"I don't mind the rain but it seems to rarely let up here." Emi said as she enjoyed the warmth of the inn, "So are you from Dahngrest?" she asked as she turned towards Cein.

"I see," Noah scratched his head, "well if you are heading to Zaphias would you like to accompany me and my partner? It is the least I could do to show my thanks."

"Thanks for what? I brought them there." Axel said irritated with himself.

"Even so you helped them," Noah pointed out, "You could have easily run away but instead you fought to protect them. Think of it this way: Just as you hoped to repay my parents for their kindness, I wish to repay you for yours." Noah smiled brightly as he held out his hand.

"Oh uh........thank you." Axel said as he shook Noah's hand. "I see you're just as kind as your parents are. Though you should thank this guy too. I wouldnt have been able to do anything if he didnt help fend off his sister." Axel said looking at Onyx.

"Eh, I didnt do much though." Onyx said embarrassed

"Nordopolica," Cein said as he paid for their rooms, "I ended up coming to Dahngrest when I started doing work as a mercenary, considering anything that happens in Nordopolica is associated with the arena." he sighed.

"Nnn?" Lucy opened her eyes and saw three figures her morning vision didn't immediately recognize. "Eh!? RAAAH!!!" She jumped up and tackled one to the ground, her dagger about to plunge into the guy's throat. She looked around and spotted Noah. "Oh. Yeah. I forgot about you. Who are these guys?"

Noah laughed and replied nonchalantly, "I see you are just as lively in the morning, Miss Lucy. The boy you are currently on top of is Sir Axel and this is his companion, Sir..."

Lucy glared back and forth between the two of them.

"Oh so how did you learn to fight, you seem quite good," Emi said as they went up the stairs, "By the way, which room are we going to." she suddenly realized that she was leading.

"Onyx." he said flipping Lucy off of him and whipping out his dagger. "You arent the only assassin."

"Shes like your freakin sister. Which I dont like one bit." Axel said rolling his eyes.

"Thank you, Sir Onyx. Now then," Noah walked over to Lucy and reached a hand out to her, "Miss Lucy, these two are heading to Zaphias as well. So I suggested that we travel together. Is that alright with you?"

"This one," Cein said opening a door, "As for my fighting alot of it is self taught, with a little instruction from a couple of fighters."

"...." Lucy stared them both down. "....Where's your sister now? I don't trust these guys." Then again Lucy thought I don't really trust Noah either. Or anyone else for that matter.
