"Hm?" Lucy opened an eye, thinking that she might have heard something.

"Hi-hide!" Axel said as he jumped into a bush.

"Right!" Onyx said putting the lantern out.

"Oh yeah you mentioned you got lost going to Dahngrest," Cein said as they reached a rise in the road, "Well if it makes you feel any better we are near Heliord," he said pointing to the city in the distance.

"...?" Lucy looked around. "...Damn..Now I'm never gonna get back to sleep."

"Mm," Noah drowsily sat up, "Something wrong, Miss Lucy?"

"...No. I just thought I heard something..."

"So what are we gonna do when we get to Heliord," Emi said, feeling a bit of relief that there would be some shelter soon.

"Rest and get ready to go on to Torim Harbor," Cein said as he began heading down the rise, "We will be payed there, when we finish, so we don't have to return to Dahngrest immediately."

"So we could go somewhere else or something," Emi said following after getting a good look at Heliord, "Do you have any place in mind on where you want to go."

Noah yawned, "Is that so? Well whatever it was it is gone now."

"Hmm..." Lucy lied back down on the mat and closed her eyes. "I just hope it wasn't that monster or something."

"Not really," Cein said as they approached the bridge into Heliord, "I have been to most of the major cities except Zaphias, never made it out that far."

"How is it you've never been to Zaphias," Emi asked surprised, "It seems like you might end up that far considering you seem to be a seasoned mercenary."

"I haven't because," Cein paused for a moment, "I've never had a job that required me to go to Zaphias, besides the knights would cause trouble."

The warmth of the morning sun tickled Noah's face. Noah arose from his sleeping bag and stretched.

"Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhhhhh" Axel groaned waking up. "What the heck? We fell asleep!?"

"Just 5 more minutes." Onyx said curled up in a ball in the bushes.

"Hey! Onyx wake up-WOAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Axel shouted as he jumped out of the bush after a giant bee landed on his arm as he was shaking Onyx. "HOLY CRAP GET IT OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!" he shouted as he ran around in circles

"Okay," Emi said as they crossed the bridge into Heliord, "Are there a lack of jobs that go out to Zaphias?"

"That and," Cein waited till they were past the guard, he leaned over and whispered, "The knights don't like people from the Guilds."

"Oh," She glanced at the knights, "So they won't like us here then?"

"It's more they just don't like the guilds," Cein paused, "They do live outside of the empire's law so I guess I can see their issue, as far as not liking us its more the individual." They walked past the blastia in the middle of the city, "So theres the inn we'll rest there then continue on to Torim Harbor."

"What's that? Who's making all that noise?" Noah slowly made his way to the sound of screams. Wiping his eyes he let out another yawn.

"Tch! We've been found!" Axel said as he noticed that Noah was looking in his direction. "Uh.....hi? We were lost in the forest and took cover from monsters in the bushes. Sorry, a bee landed on my arm and I kinda freaked out hehehe."

"Oh okay," Emi looked at the inn, "Finally a rest from being soaked all the time."

"It's not even been that long since the rain started," Cein said as they stepped into the inn, "Besides it is relaxing."

"Oh I see," Noah shook himself fully awake, "I am Noah. Could you by any chance tell me where you two are going? I may be able to help."
