Cein looked up at the lighthouse, "This must be the place," he knocked on the door waiting for an answer.

Noah raised an eyebrow, "'Lord of the Plains?' What is that, pray tell? Is that some kind of legendary monster or bandit group perhaps?"

"Its a huge monster that leads a pack of other monsters" Onyx said. "We're done for if we run into that."

"Wh-wh-wha?" Axel said nervously. "We're in a forest right? We shouldnt have to worry about running into it here then right?"

"As interesting as it sounds. It appears that at our current level we would not survive an encounter with this beast," Noah crossed his arms in thought, "painful though it may be to say."

"Well, he usually resides outside of Deidion hold. I've seen him once, in my time that I've traveled through this way, but it's unlikely that we'll actually see him. It's getting close to Winter, so he probably won't be out."

"I should go look for Cein," Emi thought to herself, "He has been taking awhile."

The door to the building opened and an old man looked up at Cein, "You the mercenary?"

"Yeah, I am here about the monsters down on the beach," Cein said, "Where are they exactly."

"They are in a small cave, along the side of the beach close to the town, its not hard to find." the man said pointing in the direction of the beach.

Emi saw Cein talking to an old man, "Hey Boss, have you found out where the monsters are."

"Why would we even see him?" Onyx asked. "We're going to Zaphias, its the complete opposite direction of Deidon hold. Do you guys know where you're going?"

"N-n-ot really..........." Axel said. "My stuff was stolen. Including my map"

"Just down the coast in a cave apparently," Cein said thanking the man, "Come on, we'll pick up the supplies and make our way there."

"Well to be honest, I thought it would make for an interesting detour," Noah said sheepishly, "If you just take a straight line to your destination you may miss out on something. However I suppose expedience outweighs exploration in this case."

"I dont really wanna get killed by some monster because you were curious Noah.........not to be rude." Axel said shivering at the thought of running into the monster

"If we go to Dedion hold, we might meet some other people headed there. I don't like crowds, but anyone would be a bit more reliable than you cowards." Lucy scowled at Axel and Onyx.

"Now now," Noah said, "if people weren't afraid of them they would not be called 'monsters,' correct?"

"Whatever." Lucy grumbled.

Noah laughed for a second and spoke, "At any rate we should head this way to reach Zaphias. Now that I think about it if we delay too long our trail may grow cold."

"Alright your the boss," Emi said following Cein, "So what could we be encountering."

"Probably just mermen or crabs," Cein said stretching a bit.

"The quicker the better." Lucy's pace increased.

"You complain so much, yet you still stand around with us instead of leaving with that stick lodged in your ass." Onyx said to Lucy scowling. "If we're so weak, then go! Whats stopping you oh strong Lucy? Oh wait........maybe you're weak too." he said with an irritated tone.

"Eh........we should probably calm down and get going.........." Axel said noting the air around him. "It feels like theres other people coming through."

"....." Lucy remained silent. Her ordeal with Marcus shook her confidence.

"Guys............" Axel said not trying to annoy anyone. "We really need to move......."

"Yeah...Let's go." Lucy kept moving toward Dedion Hold, which was now visible.

"Guess you hit a weak spot." Axel said to Onyx.

"I dont care. She's an absolute bitch." Onyx said loud enough for anyone in the forest to hear.

"....." Lucy's slowly turned her head around, the look of death was on her face.

Emi rubbed her knuckles in preparation before placing her gauntlets over them, "Alright ready to go."

Cein stopped at the merchant, "Thanks for the supplies," he placed the appropriate payment on the table after checking the bag for everything, "Alright Emi lets go."
