"Alright, so why aren't there any monsters about, I don't hear any." Emi said looking around.

"Probably sleeping, that or maybe we are lucking out," Cein said listening for movement, "Though it is odd considering we are out of range of Heliord Blastia, we are about half way to Torim Harbor, should be a bridge coming up."

"At any rate," Noah pointed into the distance, "it appears that we will arrive at the Deidon Hold shortly."

"cool." Onyx said.

"Hopefully I can restock on my supplies there. Usually there's someone from Fortune's Market traveling through there."

"Is that the bridge?" Emi asked pointing at a small stone bridge in the distance.

"Yeah that would be it," Cein said, thinking about something, "You mentioned you were tutored to fight, who taught you to fight with your fists."

"A traveler, he knew a style of hand to hand fighting and my parents hired him to teach me, it was more for self defense," Emi said thinking, "I took it a bit farther by having other travelers help me with improvement."

"Ah," Cein said understanding, "So why did you need self defense training out of curiosity, I mean you lived in Zaphias what about the knights."

"Well, my parents are merchants so that could be why, also the knights aren't always there and at times they can be incompetent." Emi sighed remembering something.

Noah said, "I am sure we should be able to get some supplies during our stay." To be honest I didn't expect this many companions so soon.

"Well, you know Deidion Hold isn't a resort right? It's not like we can stay there for long comfortably." Lucy remarked.

"True. But to be honest," Noah smiled sheepishly, " I was hoping to be able to cook breakfast once we reach there."

"True...Breakfast would be nice..." Lucy said, clutching her stomach.

"It is also highly important." Noah chimed.

"Sounds like your typical thing from the Empire, anyways we are almost to Torim Harbor." Cein said pointing at the buildings off in the distance.

"Right now it certainly is." Lucy said. Her stomach rumbled.

"So are we going to rest are we going to jump right into the job." Emi said rubbing her knuckles.

"Rest for a short time, then do the job." Cein said looking at the ocean.

"Alright," Emi sighed in relief, "I am kinda glad that we are taking a break..." she thought to herself.

"Alright I am gonna go make sure we have supplies for this, you can go and relax till we are ready to go," Cein said walking off towards a merchant.

"Okay," Emi decided to sit down and watch the harbor, "This is actually kinda neat so far." she thought for a moment, "Though I do need to get a steady form of income, maybe I can talk Cein into a partnership."

"Geez," Cein walked up to the merchant, handing him a list, "I would like these items prepared, also I am the mercenary from Dahngrest contracted for the monster killing, where would I ask for more information."

The merchant looked at him, "I'll have these ready for you," he pointed over at the lighthouse, "The old man there is the one that got us to put a posting for help, he can tell you where they are."

"Thanks." Cein turned and walked off towards the lighthouse.

"Hmm, I don't think hes from a major guild." the merchant thought for a moment, "I haven't seen him before, could of started a new one there are new ones everyday." he began to assemble the goods on the list.

Emi listened to the sound of the ocean, "It would be nice to live in a town like this, being able to hear the ocean," she thought to herself.

"Well then," Noah stretched as if he had been standing still for six days, "shall we go?"

"Sure. We're almost there. No reason to wait. I just hope we don't run into the lord of the plains."
