The Pokemon Roleplay

He didn't flinch at all. "You don't like being poked huh?" he laughed looking at Gastly with a happy look. "Not much just looking for something to do... Maybe find an oddjob that needs doing. How about you what's up with you?"

"I'm just here to heal my Pokemon... after that... you know, I'm not sure. I was planning on exploring the area, but I think I might need to train my Pokemon. Being good at battles is pretty helpful- That and I'd like them more if I were better at them. So I haven't decided yet."

Gastly had decided to spin in circles around the newcomer's head during this dialogue.

He laughed at Gastly's spinning, "Well, That sounds cool. all i got is this here egg..." He put showed the egg with one hand. He then commenced to spin it on two fingers. "I play with it all the time..." He laughed and extended a hand for a handshake, "I'm Jose. Pleasure to meetcha!"

"I'm Michael." He shook hands with Jose.
"Interesting egg you have there... any idea when it'll hatch?"

Gastly stopped spinning to look at the egg.

"No not really. i've been trying to hatch it..." He said stopping the spinning and looking at longingly... "I really want to know what it'll become." he laughed, and shrugged. "My hopes are that it'll be a playful little guy."

"Hold on one second." Michael handed Staryu's Poke Ball to the worker behind the counter.
"There. It's lucky this place isn't too busy, but I think there just aren't many Trainers around here to begin with. I think I'll be heading out once my Staryu's healed, there's nothing too cool around here."

"Well, this place is pretty small... I'm surprised it still fits under the city jurisdiction." He chuckled. "Where are you gonna be going?" He asked.

Combusken was too slow and took a mighty kick to the head, although combusken raised his defense he still took some decent damage(HP 85%). "Okay Combusken were gonna have to catch him some how. I know Combusken use Double Kick!

Combusken runs up to the meowth and tries to give it 2 quick kicks

"That's a good question! Let me check my map real quick."

SECONDS LATER

"Looks like the only other way out of town is Route 30 to the west, I'll be heading that way it seems. Also... yes, there's a cave up there. 'Dark Cave'. Yep, that's where I'm headed."

"Mind if i tag along? I got nothing better to do. So i might be able to help you out in whatever your doing." He Knew he needed some food and maybe this Micheal Kid can help him out.

"Well... I guess not. I'm about ready to head out, so if you need anything from the Pokemart or something, now's the time to get it."

He smiled happily, "Cool! Nah i'm ready to go, too! Let's go!!!" he said walking out of the Pokecenter holding the egg above his head. "Adventure!!! Yay!!!"

"That's enough officer." The police cheif Jenny relieved the first cop of his capture. "You're Mike McReary, eh? You've been causing a lot of trouble."

"Nah. You guys are just too used to things being calm around here."

"Um...hello." Jenna said as she nervously followed Mike and the cop into the station.

"Who's the girl?" Asked officer Jenny.

"Some chick that needed directions to Violet city. I told her I'd take her here." Mike responded. "She's not my accomplice or anything. Just some random little girl."

"Hm. Well it doesn't seem like you're lying. Plus this girl looks to innocent and cute to have anything to do with you. So I guess I'll believe you. Besides, if she was your accomplice, she wouldn't be stupid enough to walk right into the police headquaters after you in broad daylight."

"Don't flatter her." Mike responded. "She might very well be that stupid."

"That's nice." Jenny said. She looked to Jenna. "Something you need miss?"

"Meowth!" The Meowth quickly jumped back to avoid the first kick, then did a backflip to avoid the second kick.

"Nice one Meowth!" Stephie cheered.

"Damn! Okay then I guess we need to match speed with speed. Combusken hurry up don't give it time, use quick attack!"

Combusken shoots at meowth at great speed.

"Meowwwwwwwth!!!" The attack landed on Meowth, sending it tubling backward, attempting to regain it's footing. (75%)

"Okay let's see how they counterattack?"

Michael stood atop a hill overlooking Route 30 and struck a dramatic pose.
Gastly did as well, only without the use of limbs.
This filled them with bright hope for the gloriously shining future of light.

"It looks as though our epic quest has finally begun! Let's go!"

"You know, it feels like I was in a similar situation only recently. Huh. Yo, Jose, are you doing all right back there?"

"Meowth!" The coin on Meowth's head glowed and it shot out coins at Combusken.

Combusken stared oddly at the money being thrown at him. He then was so distracted that he forgot to dodge and took a direct hit from some of the coins. (HP 75%)

"Now Meowth! While he's distracted, head in for Slash!" Stephie yelled. Her Meowth responded and ran toward Combusken, and launched his attack.

".....You want him released after all that?" Chief Jenny said, surprised at the rage behind the girl's small form.

"Not like you have any authority to release me anyway, girl. You'd be better off finding someone else to show you to Violet city. Or just get a town map. I'm pretty easily replaceable."

"Well, I wouldn't say that, bro." The group turned to look at the source of the voice.

"Ugh....Can't you just give me the death penalty and get it over with?" Mike begged Jenny, hoping to avoid his elder brother.

"Oh come on Mickie, is that anyway to talk to your brother after you haven't seen him in months?" Laughed the man as he gave Mike a hearty slap on the back. Mike lurched at the impact and grumbled.

He had followed Micheal's example, "ADVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENTURE!!!" He said as he struck an epic pose on the hill. "RIGHT EGG!?" the egg was standing straight up on the ground. the egg then rolled on it's side. "RIGHT!!! I'M FEELING GREAT!!!"

"Combusken hurry and counter his slash with your own!"
