"GAH!" Chris shouted as the demon rammed him in the back with his head sending him flying. He held onto Mary tightly to keep her safe as he crashed onto the ground. "Damn it........"

"H-hey! Are you alright? Mister?" she asked Chris as he silently lied on the ground.

"THAT DIDNT KILL HIM? NO MATTER. YOU DIE FIRST CHILD." the Demon said as it stood up on its legs again.

"Get up.............Get up!" Mary said shaking Chris.

"Tch, never in my life would I think that i'd be getting sent flying by an animal." Chris said as he slowly stood up. "Run. Theres a bakery near the park. I have some friends who are staying there-no sending you into the city alone is a terrible idea. Just stay back! Get as far away as possible but stay where you can see me!" he said to Mary as she nodded and hid around a corner where she could peek her head around it.

"YOU INTEND TO FIGHT ME? INTERESTING, YET FOOLISH." the demon said.

"Running wont do me any good, this is all I got left!" he shouted as he summoned Pyro and Frost.

Mia and Ty come within sight of the school, the top of the building is just visible behind a small street of shops. Suddenly there is a low rumbling sound like a far away explosion.

Mia pauses suddenly then speeds up, "Wah! whatever's going on has started already! Let's hurry Ty!"

Cassandra suddenly turned to the direction of the explosion, "It's that time huh? By now that idiot's playing hero in there."

Patricia watched from outside, "This could be interesting," she sat down and began to observe.

"Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy theres a lady staring at us outsideeeeeee" Mary said pointing out of the window from the 2nd floor.

"Wha-ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" Chris said as he looked out of the window to see a woman just casually watching with a smile as if she were watching a little kid's baseball game. "I swear to god if we get outta here im gonna strangle that bitch." Chris growled full of rage. "If shes just watching instead of freaking out, this means she knows about demons, she knew about the laplace mail, and she knew this would happen. And yet, she just WATCHES!?!?!"

"DO NOT IGNORE-"

"SHUT UP!" Chris said as he furiously sent a blast of wind out of his hands so strong that all the glass on that floor shattered and the demon was sent flying down the hall.

"Ho-hoooooo" Pyro jack said. "Good hit. Looks like this guy will probably melt like a Popsicle." he said as he rained fire down on the demon.

"Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" Mary said. "Thats SO AWESOME!" she shouted jumping with excitement.

"GAAAAAAAHHHHH" the demon shouted as it was on fire. It began to stand.

"DONT GET UP!" Chris said as he sent another blast of wind.

"H-h-hey ho. The fire's sorta startin to spread!" Jack frost said as the upper floor began to catch on fire.

"Ahhhh crap. Uhhhhh put it out?" Chris said looking at jack frost.

"No can do-ho. Thats too big for me at my current level. Might wanna hightail it outta here-ho!" he said as he returned to the comp.

"Crap! Lets go Ma-NNNNGH!" Chris said untill he felt a sharp pain and fell over. "Uughh......im still feeling it from that blow the demon got on me earlier. I can barely move.." Chris said.

"Hey get up!" Mary said. "You dont wanna be cooked do ya!?" she said trying to drag Chris

"Here. This place is burning up." Vlad came from behind them and grabbed Chris. He slung Chris's arm over his shoulder. "Get on my back girl. We'll make it out of here."

"Huh? You're the guy from the park who looked like his life was ending. But if you're here.....then it makes sense. You just saw the deathclock for the first time didnt you?" Chris said.

"Uh. Okay." Mary said as she clumsily climbed on Vlad's back

"Your deathclock says zero as well. But don't worry. You won't die here. No one will. This was all predicted. For now though, let's get out of here. Can you walk?"

"Eh. yeah. I think the impact is just fucking with my senses for the most part. I feel really disorientated." he said.

"Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy its getting hot." Mary said weakly chopping Vlad on his head

"We'll be out of here soon." Vlad led the two to the stairs as the fire started to spread. "Shield your heads."

"Okay." they both said

"Om my gosh! Chris!" shouted Mia as she spotted them coming out of the smoke. "are you okay?"

She and Ty rush foward to help the staggering group.

Once outside Ty summons Aquans and tries to put out the fire.

"It's no good." he says.

"That's fine Ty." says Mia, "It doesn't look like it'll spread to the other buildings, anymore. What happened in there?" she asked turning to Chris and the two new strangers.

"Demon. Thats what." Chris simply said trying to stay conscious.

"Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy are you kids his friends? he sure knows lots of young peopleeeeeeee" Mary said not knowing what that meant to Chris.

"Oh what the heck Mary." he simply said.

Patricia stood, "This was interesting, looks like these mails come true," she chuckled and started walking towards an area where she could look at the mail for the next incident.

Mat got out of the building from another exit, "Jeez, that was insane," he coughed a bit and looked around, "I wonder where those people went."

"..Are these kids with you?" Vlad asked.

"Kinda." Chris said. "We uh.........kinda learned how to use comps at the same place at the same time so yeah"

"Kids as young as you shouldn't be fighting like this." Vlad scolded them coldly, saying something that sounded caring, but didn't come off that way. "What's your name anyway?" He asked Chris.

"Er, Chris." he simply answered. "Yeah, I told them that too........alot. But they were so hellbent on it that I guess it just happened. Better if they have a comp to protect themselves than just being demon food anyways I suppose."

"True. But why the hell did you com running here, rather than holing up someplace secure? Preferably with an adult." Vlad scolded them. Suddenly he realized he might be leading them to cling onto him. Something he desperately wanted to avoid.

"Well..........at the moment im the only adult they have." Chris said grinning. "Maybe thats why."

"....How old are you Chris?" Vlad asked.

"20."

"Hm. Can you keep an eye on these kids effectively on your own? Get them to a safe location." Stefan said. "It might help you change your clock. You've got a 0 over your head. These kids don't."

"Remember the part where I can barely stand?" Chris said with a slight chuckle.

"You'll have to recover quickly. I've got things I need to get done." Vlad said.
