The Devil Survivor RP

"Yeah, yeah," Cassandra replied, "I'm here." She was sitting at a table in the far corner of the bakery, a pile of soda cans stacked on top, "You guys want some?"

"Oh god how'd you get those?" Chris asked.

"Probably from a local store." Vlad took one of the sodas. He started drinking it down immediately.

"CC!" Mia says exitedly a big smile on her face, "So this means you'll come with us right? This is Vlad from the... you know... and we're gonna help him save those other people. If we do we might find a clue that can help him as well."

"Whoa," Cassandra said backing away from the exuberant Mia, "Like, calm down okay?"

"You DID give a small child a sugary drink." Vlad commented, grabbing another soda from the stash.

"Hey!" exclaims Mia, shaking and obviously hyper from the sugar and the mornings excitement, "Im not that little! So whats the plan? CC's here now soletsgoletsgoletsgo!"

Cassandra sighed in exasperation, "Ugh, can someone, like, tie this kid down?"

Ty interupts his sister by pulling her away from CC and pickering her up with one hand he puts her on his shoulders. The two of them look at Chris expectantly.

Cassandra sighed then turned to Vlad, "So, you're the guy who's gonna kick it today, huh? Funny, I thought you'd be some old geezer by your name."

"Yea, gotta admit you got a pretty funny name." Chris said drinking his 2nd soda. "God I havent ran like that since......" he started till he facepalmed "since yesterday when I was chasing the bus that brought me to this hellzone."

Mia sits on her brothers shoulders. her initial excitment has worn off but she grows impatient again. She opens her mouth to say something but suprisingly Ty cuts her off.

"Demons, future-mail, countdowns, nowhere is safe. Deadman walking, two highschoolers, one college kid, two little girls. Plan?"

"I'll have you know, that my name was for my grandfather, whom was a well respected- Why am I explaining this to you?" Vlad snapped. He followed up with a sigh. "Fine, let's move on to this museum. Time is running out."

"A well respected what?" Chris said curious.

"Ooh yeah!" says Mia beaming as they walk towards the museum. "Tell us about yourself Vladdy. Maybe it'll give us a clue, but if not we're friends now so it's ok."

"Or at least the closest thing you're gonna get to a friend in this situation." Chris added

"Why not," Cassandra said fixing her hair, "at least tell us why someone wants you dead."

"yeah that sounds entertaining." Chris said as he picked Mary up and sat her on his shoulders

"...Beats me. Just some vague threat some guy gave me." Vlad finally said, mulling it over. "I don't know how, or why really, but judging by my clock, he's not exactly bluffing."

"Sounds like garbage." Chris said. "Why dont we just get stronger and beat him? Looks like we have the man, er......people power." he said looking at Cassandra and Mia

"Well, we could try that. But, if we had a shot to beat him, wouldn't my death clock have changed?" Vlad looked at the surrounding death clocks. "Then again, yours are all various days as well. Either something else would kill me, or that man would just focus on me, leaving you all to your own devices." Vlad sighed. "Regardless, he said that if we saved those people at the museum, he would spare my life. I doubt we would have a better chance beating him then saving those people."

"This guy sounds like a huge jerk." says Mia. "I don't know what these clocks everyone seems to be so scared about are, but I vote for telling him off. Fighting's bad, but threatening to kill someone because he's more concerned for himself than helping others is worse. No offense Vlad."

"None taken. I'm all for every man for themselves style. Of course if people want to work together, then that's fine. If people want to help, that's fine. Me, I don't want anyone interfering in what I do." Vlad folded his arms.

"I can get behind that," Cassandra said bluntly, "Don't get me wrong, like, I'm not saying you should go die and all but I'm not really to into the thought of sticking my neck out for someone I don't even know."

"Fair enough. I'm not exactly the type of person to feel like I have to return the favor if you do. At the very least I wouldn't go out of my way."
